A deer rather happy to take centre stage

The forest can stay outside today. This deer has made itself at home indoors and brought a rather good colour with it. The Engels Kerzen Deer Object Candle from the ENGELS OBJEKTE collection features a finely modelled stag's head with distinctive antlers, detailed fur texture and a velvety-looking finish in deep burgundy. Measuring 18.5 cm high, 15 cm wide and 13 cm long, this red sculptural candle has enough presence for a sideboard, console or dining table without taking over the entire room. Made in Germany from paraffin wax, it is cast, dipped and coloured throughout. Its velvet lacquer finish gives the surface an almost textile quality, allowing the rich burgundy shade to appear deeper or softer as the light changes.
