Twenty centimetres that give light a little more room

On a sideboard, a candle is quite welcome to show a little presence. At 20 cm high, this set of two ENGELS ORIGINAL pillar candles by Engels Kerzen does exactly that, while the warm Ivory shade keeps the overall look beautifully understated. Each pillar candle measures Ø 8 × H 20 cm and is cast from paraffin wax in Germany, coloured throughout and polished by hand. The result is the softly lustrous surface characteristic of ENGELS ORIGINAL, allowing Ivory to shift subtly between warm white, cream and pale beige depending on the light around it. The top is equally distinctive, with a smoothly rounded rim and a gently recessed candle plate. The paraffin is vegan and REACH-certified, and an integrated burn stop is part of the design. With approximately 108 hours of burn time per candle, this pair is made for rather longer relationships than brief appearances. The two candles look beautifully balanced together, yet their height also makes them an excellent upper level in a mixed candle arrangement.

Tall enough to be noticed, calm enough for every day

The proportions of 20 cm in height and 8 cm in diameter make these pillar candles particularly suited to more generous arrangements.
