Engels Kerzen: Engels Fine Line

Pillar Candle Pebble 15 cm Set of 6

Six candles, plenty of reasons to stay a little longer

Six candles in one set? That sounds like a rather good idea for anyone who believes a beautifully laid table deserves more than a single flicker of light. The Engels Fine Line set of six pillar candles in Kiesel, a soft pebble grey, brings gentle colour and delicate texture into your home. Each ribbed pillar candle measures 15 cm in height and 7 cm in diameter, featuring the fine vertical grooves that define the Fine Line collection. These slender lines give the classic cylindrical shape a subtle sense of movement, especially when the warm glow of the flame catches the textured surface. Hand-poured in Germany, the candles are made from vegan, solid-coloured paraffin wax using REACH-certified raw material. Each candle offers approximately 40 hours of burn time and is designed to burn slowly and evenly with a calm flame when used correctly. The gentle grey shade has a natural, stone-like quality that sits comfortably alongside both warm and cool interiors. Whether arranged together on a dining table or placed around your living space, these six candles bring a little more warmth to the moments you would rather not rush.

One set, countless ways to make it yours

Having six matching pillar candles gives you the freedom to play with light, texture and placement. Arrange them together on a generous decorative tray, distribute them across individual candle plates or create smaller displays in different corners of your home. The fine ribbed surface looks particularly appealing alongside smooth ceramics, natural wood, linen and softly textured fabrics. On a long dining table, repeating the same candle shape creates a pleasing sense of rhythm without making the arrangement feel overly formal. Placed individually on a sideboard or occasional table, the candles introduce smaller pools of welcoming light. Because the paraffin wax is coloured throughout, the pebble-grey shade is part of each candle rather than simply a surface finish. The set also works beautifully throughout the seasons, from fresh spring arrangements and relaxed summer gatherings to autumn decorations and Christmas tables dressed with greenery. For weddings, birthdays or larger celebrations, six coordinating candles make creating a considered table setting wonderfully straightforward.

More than 90 years of making candlelight

Engels Kerzen has been crafting candles in Kempen, Germany, since 1933. Originally known for traditional church candles, the family-run manufacturer has developed its expertise into a wide range of contemporary candles for interiors, dining and everyday living. Its approach combines established craftsmanship with a thoughtful understanding of colour, materials and changing design preferences. The Fine Line collection is a lovely example of this balance, bringing a fresh look to familiar candle shapes through its delicate vertical ribbing and carefully coordinated colours. The paraffin used by Engels is refined in Germany, subject to strict quality controls and suitable for vegan products. It is developed to provide consistent burning performance and can be stored for extended periods. For the best results, Engels recommends trimming the wick to approximately 1 cm before lighting and checking it regularly for any residue. Always use a suitable heat-resistant surface and leave sufficient space between burning candles. A little attention helps every candle give its best.

Good company comes in a set of six

With six matching ribbed candles in Kiesel grey, you can create a coordinated look while leaving plenty of room for your own ideas. Pair them with other colours from the Engels Fine Line collection or introduce coordinating Fine Line taper candles for a pleasing contrast in height and shape. Smooth Engels Original candles and the more pronounced ribbing of the Engels Klassik range offer further opportunities to explore different textures. Simple candle plates, decorative bowls and understated holders provide a lovely setting for the fine vertical lines. At LIVOSY, we appreciate home accessories that feel just as relevant next season as they do today. That is part of the appeal of this set: the candles can take centre stage together, find individual places around your home or become part of a changing collection of seasonal arrangements. And with six candles ready to light, there is always another lovely evening waiting to happen.
