Looks rather good even before you light it
The ENGELS KLASSIK Ribbed Candle in Almond with its velvet lacquer finish has one minor dilemma: you may be tempted to leave it unlit simply because it looks so good as it is. Standing 15 cm high with a diameter of 8 cm, its evenly spaced vertical ribs give the classic pillar candle a calm, graphic silhouette. The warm Almond shade sits somewhere between soft beige and light brown, making it easy to pair with wood, natural stone, cream, black or stronger colours. What really changes its appearance is the matt velvet lacquer finish. Rather than strongly reflecting light, the surface absorbs it, giving the ribs greater depth and definition. It is also resistant to fingerprints, which is particularly welcome on a candle designed to be seen as well as burned.
