This set of four ENGELS KLASSIK Ribbed Candles by Engels Kerzen combines a clear vertical structure with the warm Almond shade and a matt velvet lacquer finish. Each candle stands 20 cm high, measures 8 cm in diameter and is made in Germany from paraffin wax. Fine, evenly spaced ribs run across the cylindrical body, giving the familiar pillar candle an almost sculptural presence. Almond sits between soft beige and light brown, making it easy to pair with natural materials as well as darker contrasts. The velvet lacquer adds another layer of calm. Its matt surface captures light rather than strongly reflecting it, which gives the ribbed texture greater depth. It is also resistant to fingerprints. Any residue should be removed with sharp scissors. This helps maintain a calm flame and allows the wax pool to develop more evenly. With up to 95 hours of burn time per candle, that small amount of care is well worth it.
