A glass of wine, an evening with nowhere else to be and, right in the middle of it all, a flame moving almost like a small sculpture: the höfats SPIN air 1200 table fire in Concrete brings real fire to the table without making the room feel like a campsite. Inside its 54 cm tall borosilicate glass cylinder, the flame rises in SPIN’s characteristic swirling motion, creating a calm focal point for the dining table, sideboard or terrace. The grey concrete-look base provides an architectural counterpoint to the slender glass cylinder, while the compact 13.8 cm diameter means SPIN air needs surprisingly little surface space for its height. Inside, the refillable Bio-Burner uses liquid höfats bioethanol to produce an odourless, soot-free and smokeless flame. With an output of 2,000 watts, there is more to it than a beautiful glow too: SPIN radiates noticeable warmth. Approved for indoor use in accordance with DIN EN 16647, the table fire can be enjoyed both indoors and outdoors when used as instructed. Add the supplied Eco-Ring and the flame becomes slightly smaller while the burn time increases, giving SPIN 1200 approximately 100 to 150 minutes of fire. A rather convincing reason not to clear away that final glass just yet.
A little whirlwind with plenty of atmosphere
What makes SPIN air so captivating is not simply the presence of a real flame, but the way höfats puts it in motion. Its clever airflow guides the fire into rotation inside the glass cylinder, creating the distinctive flame vortex associated with the SPIN collection. The Bio-Burner also produces a brighter, clearly defined flame that remains visible even during daylight. Fit the included Eco-Ring to reduce the flame height and extend the burning time from around 100 minutes to as much as 150 minutes. When the evening eventually comes to an end, the flame can be extinguished using the supplied extinguishing lid. SPIN air 1200 is designed exclusively for höfats liquid bioethanol fuel with the green cap; bioethanol gel must not be used in this Bio-Burner. Before refilling, allow the table fire to cool completely to room temperature. The result is pleasingly straightforward: real fire and warmth, without smoke, soot or unnecessary fuss.
