Natalini: QUADRIFOGLIO

Picture Frame 10x15 cm

Four leaves, fresh green and rather good with memories

A little luck on the shelf certainly cannot hurt. The Natalini QUADRIFOGLIO photo frame gives a 10 x 15 cm photograph a charming place of its own: the 20 mm wide wooden frame is finished in a calm green and decorated with clover leaves in different sizes, scattered loosely across its surface. It is this playful variation that gives the design its character without competing with the photograph inside. Made in Italy, the frame can be displayed in either portrait or landscape orientation using the stand on the back. Its reverse has a velour-like covering and rotating tabs, making it easy to change the photograph whenever another memory deserves its turn. A favourite holiday picture, a snapshot from an evening that went on rather longer than planned, or a portrait that really should not spend its entire life on a phone: QUADRIFOGLIO turns personal photographs into part of the room. And should those four-leaf clovers bring a little extra luck, we are hardly going to object.

The pattern is part of the material

The frame owes its distinctive character not only to its green colour but also to the art of marquetry for which Natalini is known. In this traditional decorative technique, a motif is not simply printed onto the surface. Different veneers are precisely cut into individual shapes and assembled to create the design, allowing the natural colours, textures and grain of the wood to become part of the composition. On QUADRIFOGLIO, the technique appears in the clover motifs scattered across the frame. Look closely and there are small details to discover; step back and they form a relaxed, playful pattern. Marquetry has a long history, yet here the technique feels surprisingly contemporary thanks to the simple graphic motif and fresh use of colour.

Italian frame-making with an eye for detail

Natalini was founded in 1979 and specialises in decorative photo frames. Today, the Italian company describes itself as a world leader in the field of inlaid photo frames. Its collections demonstrate just how varied this craft can be, ranging from restrained wood patterns to colour, geometry and more playful designs. QUADRIFOGLIO forms part of Natalini's 20 mm frame collection and brings a light, modern mood to a traditional decorative technique. It is precisely this sort of object that fits naturally into the LIVOSY world: design that works at first glance but has something more to reveal when you look again. Material, workmanship and those little clover leaves all have their part to play.

A little green among the things you love

Designed for a 10 x 15 cm photograph, this green Natalini photo frame is easy to place on a sideboard, console, desk or bedside table. Standing vertically, it suits portraits and spontaneous snapshots; turned horizontally, it gives travel photographs, landscapes and group pictures a generous setting. QUADRIFOGLIO looks particularly appealing alongside quieter home accessories in wood, ceramic or glass, where its green surface can add a considered touch of colour. Several Natalini frames can also be arranged together to create a personal collection: mixing colours and patterns brings character, while repeated photo sizes keep the arrangement visually connected. A memory does not need a grand display to make its presence felt. Choose the photograph, find it a place and let the story inside do the rest.
