A deep red frame for memories with character
Some photographs eventually disappear among the other 4,862 on your phone. This one deserves rather better. The Natalini BIANTE Amaranto photo frame gives a favourite moment a permanent place while adding a rich red accent to the room. Made from wood and finished in Natalini's Amaranto colour, it surrounds a 10 x 15 cm photograph with a 20 mm wide frame. Its overall dimensions of 13.5 x 18.5 cm and depth of 1.3 cm keep the proportions pleasantly compact. A stand on the back allows the frame to be displayed in either portrait or landscape orientation, whether it holds a portrait, a holiday scene or that wonderfully ordinary snapshot you somehow keep returning to. The velour-like backing and practical swivel tabs make inserting a photograph simple and allow it to be changed just as easily later on.
Amaranto knows how to be quiet. Invisible, not so much.
The rich red finish turns this wooden frame into a home accessory with a distinct presence, without competing with the photograph itself. Amaranto works particularly well on pale surfaces, amongst neutral shades or alongside darker wood, where its warm colour creates a considered contrast. The 20 mm frame width keeps the design clear and leaves plenty of visual space for the image. This makes the Natalini photo frame equally at home as a single piece on a sideboard, shelf or desk, or as part of a personal arrangement of different frames. And because it can stand vertically or horizontally, the photograph does not have to adapt to the frame. Which seems only fair.
Wood, precision and an Italian speciality
Founded in 1979, Natalini has become particularly known internationally for its inlaid photo frames. Behind this part of the brand's identity lies a decorative technique with a long tradition. In classic marquetry, different veneers are precisely cut and assembled to create patterns and motifs. The natural shades, structures and grain of the wood become part of the design itself, so the decoration is created through the interplay of materials rather than simply being printed onto the surface. This relationship between wood, precision and decorative craftsmanship shapes the world of Natalini. The BIANTE Amaranto frame is made in Italy and presents a quieter expression of that aesthetic: a clean silhouette, a lacquered wooden surface and a colour with enough personality to hold its own.
A frame for all the stories worth keeping close
On its own, the red BIANTE Amaranto wooden frame brings a deliberate touch of colour to a room. Pair it with other Natalini photo frames in different sizes and shades and a sideboard or shelf can gradually become a personal collection of people, places and moments that genuinely mean something. It also sits naturally amongst candle holders, vases, books and other home accessories. Its compact proportions are particularly useful where you want to add personality without creating an entire gallery wall. BIANTE Amaranto does not turn a photograph into a museum piece. It simply gives it a good place in everyday life. And perhaps that is one of the nicest ways to keep a memory around.
