Product information "Picture Frame Amaranto 13x18 cm"
A little Amaranto amongst all those good memories
This photograph can happily take up a little more space. The Natalini BIANTE Amaranto photo frame is designed for 13 x 18 cm photographs and brings a rich touch of red to a sideboard, shelf or desk while it is there. Made from wood with a lacquered finish, the frame measures 16.3 x 21.2 cm overall and is 1.3 cm deep. Its 20 mm wide border has enough presence to define the photograph without stealing the scene. Things are pleasingly practical at the back, too: an integrated stand allows portrait or landscape display, the velour-like backing provides a considered finish, and swivel tabs make it easy to insert or replace a photograph. Made in Italy and weighing 0.25 kg, this compact wooden frame can settle comfortably amongst books, candles and other favourite objects. A good photograph does not mind a little company, after all.
Red, with a remarkably calm disposition
Amaranto is hardly a shy beige, and that is precisely its appeal. The rich red shade gives this Natalini photo frame a warm, graphic presence, creating a considered colour accent amongst pale natural tones as well as against darker surroundings. The 13 x 18 cm photo size provides more visual space than the smaller 10 x 15 cm version, making it a lovely choice for portraits, travel photographs, family pictures or images where you want the details to remain visible. As the wooden frame can be displayed vertically or horizontally, the photograph gets to decide the direction. BIANTE Amaranto works beautifully on its own or as part of a personal group of frames that does not have to look like a formal gallery and can instead feel reassuringly like real life.
A brand with a particular relationship with wood
Founded in 1979, Natalini is particularly known for its inlaid photo frames. That decorative tradition provides an interesting perspective on the brand's approach to wood. In classic marquetry, veneers from different woods are precisely cut and assembled to form decorative motifs. Their natural shades, structures and grain become part of the composition itself, meaning the pattern is created through the interplay of individual veneers rather than simply being printed onto the surface. BIANTE Amaranto itself is specified as a lacquered wooden frame and represents a deliberately restrained side of the Natalini collection. Rather than attributing an unconfirmed inlaid motif to this particular model, its appeal lies in what is clearly there: wood, balanced proportions, an expressive colour and Italian manufacture.
Photographs change. Their place can stay.
With space for a 13 x 18 cm photograph, BIANTE Amaranto is large enough to give a favourite image presence while remaining compact enough to place easily around the home. Try the red photo frame amongst books and home accessories, on a sideboard beside a vase or as a colourful counterpart to quieter frames. Different sizes and variations of Natalini photo frames can also be brought together to create a collection that evolves as new memories arrive. The swivel-tab closure makes changing the photograph straightforward, so today's holiday picture can eventually make way for a new favourite portrait. Or perhaps it will not. Some photographs prove surprisingly good at holding their ground. BIANTE Amaranto simply gives them somewhere to belong, bringing colour and personality into everyday surroundings without turning the moment into a grand production.
