Natalini: 101-30

Picture Frame Antracite 10x15 cm

A dark frame for life’s brighter moments

This photograph can happily take a little more of the spotlight. The Natalini Antracite photo frame from the 101-30 series combines a distinctive dark grey frame with light beige and cream sections and a graphic decorative design that reveals more of its character the closer you look. Made from wood with a lacquered surface, it surrounds a 10 x 15 cm photograph with a 30 mm wide frame. The interplay of anthracite, grey and warm beige feels pleasantly calm from a distance, while up close the finer structure of the design comes into view. It is this balance that makes the wooden photo frame an attractive home accessory without distracting from the memory inside. A stand on the back allows the frame to be displayed in portrait or landscape orientation on a sideboard, bedside table, desk or shelf. Rotating tabs make changing the photograph straightforward, while the velour-like backing gives even the less visible side of the frame a considered finish. Supplied as one photo frame suitable for a 10 x 15 cm photograph.

The pattern has no intention of being an extra

The 101 series belongs to Natalini’s distinctive world of frames in which the surface itself becomes part of the design. Behind inlay decoration lies a traditional technique with a long history: different veneers are precisely cut according to a design and assembled to create a decorative composition. The natural colours, structures and grain of the wood contribute to the finished pattern rather than the decoration simply being printed or painted onto the surface. A photo frame is a particularly pleasing way to appreciate this technique, as the pattern can accompany the photograph while still leaving the image at the centre of attention. The 30 mm frame gives the 101-30 Antracite a confident presence without overwhelming a 10 x 15 cm photograph. Family photographs, travel memories, portraits, small art prints and those snapshots that deserve considerably better than permanent residence in a phone gallery all feel at home here.

Italian frame design with an eye for detail

Founded in 1979, Natalini specialises in decorative photo frames and is particularly associated with inlaid frames. Today, the company offers an extensive collection ranging from classic to more contemporary designs, with the 101 series also included in Natalini’s current selection of 30 mm frames. The 101-30 Antracite photo frame is made in Italy and brings an Italian approach to decorative framing into the home, where material, pattern and photograph are considered together. It also sits naturally within the LIVOSY philosophy: home accessories can have personality while remaining objects you will enjoy living with for years. Rather than placing a treasured photograph in an anonymous surround, this frame gives it a carefully considered setting with visual interest of its own.

One photograph is lovely. A few tell a story.

With its anthracite, grey and beige palette, the Natalini photo frame is remarkably easy to introduce into different interiors. Placed on pale wood, its darker sections create a distinctive contrast; against deeper furniture tones, the pattern appears quieter and more graphic. Combine several photo frames in different formats or Natalini designs and holidays, family, art and everyday moments can gradually become a personal collection across a shelf or sideboard. Other Natalini collections can join the arrangement too, especially when colours and patterns are mixed with a little intention. Prefer things quieter? Let the 101-30 Antracite stand on its own and give one favourite photograph the attention it deserves. Portrait or landscape is entirely up to the memory. As it should be.
