Natalini: MPA30

Picture Frame Bianco 10x15 cm

A frame that knows the photograph is the main event

That favourite photograph has waited long enough for a proper place. The Natalini Bianco 10x15 cm photo frame from the MPB30 collection gives it one, without competing for attention. Made from wood, the 30 mm wide frame has a white lacquered finish complemented by pale, shimmering decorative sections that catch the light and bring subtle depth to the otherwise calm colour palette. Look a little closer and changing reflections give the surface its own character, while the photograph remains firmly at the centre of attention. Designed for a 10 x 15 cm photograph, the frame works beautifully for portraits, travel memories, family photographs or that rare group shot in which everybody happened to look at the camera at the same time. The back is finished with a velvet-like covering and fitted with rotating tabs for inserting and changing the photograph. An integrated stand allows the frame to be displayed in either portrait or landscape orientation. The wooden frame is made in Italy.

White, with rather more to say than expected

Bianco makes this Natalini photo frame remarkably easy to live with. Its light finish gives colourful photography room to shine while also providing a calm setting for black-and-white images. Place it on a sideboard, console, shelf or bedside table and it settles naturally into its surroundings without disappearing into them. The changing character of the frame surface keeps the white finish visually interesting, which is precisely where the appeal of the MPB30 lies: there is enough presence to frame a memory properly, yet never so much that the frame becomes the subject. The compact 10 x 15 cm format works equally well on its own or as part of a personal arrangement of photographs, books and favourite objects. Portrait or landscape? Thankfully, the photograph gets to make that decision.

Italian frame-making with an eye for detail

Founded in 1979, Natalini has developed an extensive collection of decorative photo frames encompassing different colours, surfaces and design styles. The company is particularly associated with decorative inlay work and marquetry frames. With the MPB30 Bianco, however, the visible character comes primarily from the relationship between its white lacquered wooden frame and pale reflective decorative sections. As no reliable information identifying specific marquetry woods or an exact inlay technique is available for this particular model, we deliberately avoid attributing either to it. What is established is that MPB30 Bianco belongs to Natalini’s 30 mm frame collection and is made in Italy. It is the sort of home accessory we appreciate at LIVOSY: an object chosen to accompany personal memories rather than chase a passing interior trend.

Photographs change. A good place for them can stay.

Against a pale chest or shelf, Bianco feels calm and understated; placed on darker wood, its white finish creates a more distinct contrast. Pair it with candleholders, small vases, bowls or books, or introduce other photo frames to create a collection that has grown naturally rather than been overly coordinated. Natalini also lists MPB30 in Nero, Rosso and Tiffany alongside Bianco, allowing different colours to echo details within a room or give individual photographs their own setting. The Natalini MPB30 Bianco 10x15 cm photo frame provides a light, versatile starting point. Add a photograph, choose portrait or landscape and give it a place where your eye is likely to linger anyway.
