Natalini: ANNIVERSARIO

Picture Frame Mogano 13x18 cm

A warm frame for photographs that mean something

13 x 18 cm is large enough to give a favourite photograph real presence, yet compact enough for that space between books, ceramics and all the other things that gradually find their way onto a sideboard. The Natalini ANNIVERSARIO Mogano photo frame combines this versatile photo size with a 20 mm wide profile made from lacquered wood. Its warm brown colouring is enriched by visible variations in the wood and accented by a fine black border. Small geometric elements run evenly around the photograph, giving the frame a graphic rhythm that almost appears drawn at first glance. A portrait, travel photograph or family moment therefore gets an expressive setting without the frame attempting to become the main attraction. The photo frame is made in Italy and finished at the back with a velvety covering. Rotating tabs make inserting and changing photographs straightforward, while an integrated stand allows the Natalini frame to be displayed in either portrait or landscape orientation. Just as well, really, as memories rarely follow design guidelines.

A pattern that is not simply painted on

The character of ANNIVERSARIO Mogano becomes particularly apparent where its warm brown surface meets the small dark decorative elements. Behind this effect lies the traditional art of inlay, a decorative technique with a long history. Different veneers are precisely cut into individual shapes and assembled according to a design to create a motif. Their individual shades, structures and natural grain intentionally become part of the composition. The decoration is therefore created through the relationship between the materials rather than simply being printed or painted onto a finished surface. Geometric motifs make this especially fascinating: numerous small forms come together to create a calm, repeating line. On the Mogano frame, that detailing provides a crisp contrast to the brown wooden surface and gives the 20 mm profile additional depth. Traditional technique and a remarkably contemporary graphic effect sit comfortably side by side.

Finding the right frame has mattered to Natalini since 1979

Natalini was founded in 1979 and has established an international reputation particularly through its inlaid photo frames. Across the Italian brand's collections, wood, colour and decorative inlay come together around an object whose purpose has remained wonderfully personal: keeping memories visible. ANNIVERSARIO Mogano is made in Italy and expresses that idea with a warm brown palette and contrasting black geometric detailing. The design feels reassuringly familiar yet clear enough to sit naturally within contemporary interiors. These are precisely the sort of home accessories that feel at home in the LIVOSY selection. They do not have to transform an entire room to contribute something to its atmosphere. A considered position, material with visible character and, naturally, the right photograph can be quite enough.

The best galleries tend to happen by themselves

The combination of brown and black makes the Natalini ANNIVERSARIO Mogano photo frame easy to introduce into different interiors. On a pale console, the darker wood creates a distinct accent; amongst warm wood tones, books and ceramics, it settles more quietly into its surroundings. Black-and-white photography can echo the graphic inlay border, while photographs with stronger colours create an appealing contrast. Mogano also works particularly well alongside other Natalini photo frames in different sizes or colour variations. Individual memories can gradually develop into a personal display without the whole thing turning into a meticulously planned gallery wall. Vases, scented candles and other home accessories are welcome to join in, as is a little empty space. Then all that remains is the photograph that still makes you stop for a moment every time you see it.
