Natalini: NICE

Picture Frame Ocra A V 10x15 cm

Colour is very welcome in this picture

Ocra A V is not particularly shy about colour, yet somehow still leaves the photograph in the middle with the best seat in the house. The Natalini photo frame from the NICE collection is designed for 10 x 15 cm photographs and combines a 20 mm wide wooden frame with a lively geometric composition. Ochre and orange tones meet green, pale blue, pink, white and deep blue, while individual sections vary in size, direction and visible texture. From a distance, the multicoloured frame reads as a clear graphic composition; move closer and its finer variations begin to emerge. A lacquered surface gives the decoration a clean finish. Ocra A V is practical too: the reverse has a velour-like covering, rotating tabs provide access for changing the photograph, and an integrated stand allows it to be displayed in either portrait or landscape orientation. Place it on a sideboard, shelf, console or bedside table and simply choose the direction that suits the photograph and its surroundings. Ideal for favourite people, travel memories or that rare group photo in which everyone actually looked at the camera.

Lots of colour, all working together

The distinctive character of this Natalini photo frame comes from the art of marquetry. In this traditional inlay technique, different veneers are precisely cut before being assembled into a decorative composition. Their colour, texture and natural grain contribute to the design, meaning the pattern is not simply printed onto the surface as a visual effect. Instead, it develops through the interaction of individual elements. Ocra A V makes this principle particularly visible: broader coloured sections define the outer frame, while smaller rectangular elements create a second rhythm immediately around the photograph. At the corners, diagonal joins give the composition a clear visual finish. The result is colourful without becoming chaotic, which makes this expressive wooden frame surprisingly easy to introduce into different interiors.

Old craft, new favourite colour

Founded in 1979, Natalini has become particularly associated with decorative marquetry photo frames. Across the Italian company's collections, the long-established inlay technique meets a broad variety of colours and graphic ideas. NICE Ocra A V is made in Italy and presents a distinctly contemporary side of this decorative craft. Rather than visually recreating the long history of marquetry, the frame translates its creative possibilities into bold colour and clean geometry. That approach feels very much at home at LIVOSY: tradition can remain visible while still belonging firmly in the present. The result is more than a border around a photograph. It becomes a home accessory with a personality of its own, bringing just enough colour to give a quieter interior an unexpected lift.

A small colour rush for the bookshelf

Ocra A V feels naturally at home in interiors where colour already plays a part, but it can be just as appealing as a deliberate contrast among calmer furniture and accessories. Wood, ceramics and glass sit particularly comfortably alongside its varied colours and textures. The frame can also be combined with other Natalini photo frames to create a personal collection. Patterns and shades do not need to match exactly; mixing different designs from the NICE collection can make the arrangement feel more individual and collected over time. Its 10 x 15 cm photo size also makes Ocra A V easy to place on smaller surfaces or among books, photographs and favourite objects. Which leaves just one genuinely difficult decision: choosing the photograph that gets the frame.
