Christmas Cushion Cover Grey 40x40 cm

Ho Ho Ho, Someone's Feeling Festive

It seems Father Christmas has left his sense of humour on the sofa. Rather thoughtful of him, really. The pad HO3 cushion cover brings a cheerful splash of Christmas spirit into your home with its playful “HO HO HO” lettering and scattered white polka dots. Set against a soft grey background, the oversized letters appear in bright red, deep burgundy and rich green, creating a lively composition that feels wonderfully relaxed. Their hand-drawn appearance and slightly irregular arrangement give the design an informal, joyful character, while the little white dots resemble snowflakes drifting across a winter sky. Measuring 40 x 40 cm, this square cushion cover makes a delightful addition to a sofa, armchair or bedroom during the festive season. Made from 100% polyester, it combines a practical textile fabric with an eye-catching Christmas design. The neutral grey base balances the vibrant colours, making this pad cushion cover surprisingly easy to incorporate into different interiors. It's a little cheeky, rather charming and just the thing for anyone who believes Christmas decorating should come with a smile.

A Little Festive Mischief Never Hurt Anyone

Christmas interiors don't have to follow the traditional script of golden stars, pine branches and perfectly coordinated decorations. HO3 takes a more playful approach, using colourful lettering and cheerful polka dots to create an unmistakably festive mood. The combination of grey, red, burgundy, green and white works beautifully with both contemporary and classic interiors. Against a neutral sofa in cream, beige or charcoal, the colourful motif becomes a lively focal point. Paired with deep green throws, red accessories and warm candlelight, it settles naturally into a more traditional Christmas setting.

The 40 x 40 cm size is particularly versatile, whether you prefer a single decorative cushion on your favourite chair or a layered arrangement with larger cushions and contrasting fabrics. Mix HO3 with plain cushion covers to let the lettering stand out, or introduce knitted throws and velvet textures for a cosy, collected look. The practical details are equally welcome. This polyester cushion cover can be washed at 30°C and ironed at temperatures up to 150°C when required. Bleaching and tumble drying should be avoided, while professional dry cleaning with perchloroethylene is permitted. A little straightforward care means more time for the enjoyable parts of the season, including that second helping of Christmas pudding.

Colourful Ideas, With a Story to Tell

German home textiles brand pad has always approached interior design with a sense of curiosity and a healthy disregard for boring conventions. Its story began when founder Michael Rossmann developed a home accessories collection for a client whose funding unexpectedly fell through. Rather than let the designs disappear, he decided to launch them himself. That spontaneous decision became the beginning of pad, a brand now based in Mertingen, Bavaria, with cushions, throws and home accessories enjoyed in numerous countries around the world.

Pad is particularly known for its expressive colours, imaginative motifs and enthusiasm for interesting textiles. Alongside two major annual collections, the creative team develops a dedicated Christmas edition, bringing fresh interpretations to familiar festive themes. The HO3 cushion cover is manufactured in China from 100% polyester and reflects the brand's cheerful approach to seasonal design. At LIVOSY, we appreciate pieces that bring personality into a room without taking themselves too seriously. A home should feel comfortable, welcoming and unmistakably yours. Sometimes, a colourful cushion with a slightly mischievous message is a rather lovely way to achieve that.

Even Father Christmas Might Stay for Tea

HO3 is wonderfully easy to style with other pad cushions and cosy throws. For a balanced festive arrangement, pair the grey cover with plain cushions in forest green, burgundy or warm ivory. The colourful lettering introduces a playful contrast, while the surrounding textiles give the composition a calm, inviting feel. Those who enjoy a more expressive Christmas look can mix in additional patterned cushions, knitted fabrics and decorative accessories in complementary colours. A soft throw, a few candles and a plate of homemade biscuits complete the scene rather nicely.

Thanks to its cheerful design and compact square shape, HO3 also works beautifully as a standalone accent on an armchair, window seat or reading nook. The combination of colourful lettering and a neutral background offers a refreshing alternative to more conventional Christmas decorations. And once the festivities are over, this little burst of seasonal joy can be tucked away until it's time to bring out the decorations again.
