Cushion Cover Dark Brown 50x50 cm

Dark Chocolate for Your Sofa

Chocolate has a wonderful way of making everything feel a little better. This rich brown shade offers much the same comfort, thankfully without leaving crumbs on the sofa. The CASUAL cushion cover by pad in dark brown brings warmth and a beautifully textured finish to your living space. Measuring 50 × 50 cm, this square cushion cover features a distinctive corduroy-style surface with fine, closely spaced ribs running evenly across the fabric. The textured finish creates subtle variations in colour as the light changes, allowing the deep brown shade to shift between freshly brewed espresso and rich dark chocolate. Made from 92% polyester and 8% polyacrylic, the cover combines the inviting appearance of ribbed fabric with practical everyday care. Its generous square shape makes it a lovely choice for larger sofas, comfortable armchairs or as a decorative cushion on the bed. There are no elaborate patterns or bold prints competing for attention here. Instead, the colour and texture create a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere that feels natural in a wide variety of interiors. A pad cushion cover for anyone who appreciates interesting fabrics, warm colours and a home that feels genuinely lived in.

Let the Texture Do the Talking

Plain fabric certainly does not have to mean plain character. The fine corduroy-style ribs give the dark brown CASUAL cushion cover a sense of depth, creating an attractive contrast with smooth upholstery, soft throws and loosely woven textiles. Its 50 × 50 cm dimensions provide a generous surface for the ribbed texture to stand out, whether the cushion is displayed individually or layered with others. Against a cream, beige or sand-coloured sofa, the rich brown shade introduces warmth and a gentle contrast. On darker furniture in charcoal, olive or chocolate tones, it blends beautifully into the overall arrangement while adding an extra layer of texture. The square format also works wonderfully in the bedroom, arranged in front of larger pillows or paired with understated bed linen. Everyday care is refreshingly simple: the cushion cover can be machine washed at 30°C, gently tumble dried on a low setting and ironed at temperatures up to 110°C. Bleaching should be avoided. The cover is also certified to OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100, confirming that its materials have been tested for harmful substances. It is a thoughtful combination of tactile design and practical details for everyday living.

Good Fabric, Good Ideas

German home textiles brand pad has built its identity around a genuine enthusiasm for colours, materials and unexpected design ideas. Founded by Michael Rossmann and based in Mertingen, Bavaria, the company has grown into an international brand offering cushions, throws and contemporary home accessories. Its collections range from expressive patterns and vibrant colours to quieter designs that allow the fabric itself to take centre stage. CASUAL represents this more understated side of the brand. There is no need for a bold motif, decorative lettering or elaborate embellishments when the combination of a rich colour and distinctive ribbed texture already creates so much character. The dark brown cushion cover is manufactured in Hungary and certified to OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100. Its European production, considered colour palette and tactile surface reflect an appreciation for textiles that bring lasting enjoyment to everyday spaces. At LIVOSY, we share that enthusiasm for home accessories that settle naturally into an interior without disappearing into the background. Pieces that are easy to combine, enjoyable to use and worth keeping around as your home evolves.

A Little Espresso Goes with Almost Everything

The deep brown shade of the CASUAL cushion cover makes it a versatile addition to all kinds of interiors. Pair it with cream or sand-coloured cushions, light linen textiles and a soft throw for a calm, welcoming arrangement. For a little more colour, introduce terracotta, mustard yellow, sage green or muted rust. These earthy shades complement the warm brown beautifully while giving the overall look a more individual feel. If you enjoy mixing different cushion shapes and sizes, combine the square 50 × 50 cm cover with the rectangular CASUAL cushion cover in 35 × 60 cm. Their matching ribbed texture creates a sense of continuity while the different proportions add visual interest. Bouclé, velvet and chunky knitted fabrics also work particularly well alongside the fine ribs, introducing a lovely variety of surfaces. Add a suitably sized cushion insert and the cover becomes a comfortable companion for long evenings on the sofa, quiet reading sessions or slow Sunday mornings.
