Product information "Cushion Cover Dark Green 50x50 cm"
A little woodland charm for your living room
Nature has a rather impressive collection of greens. Fortunately, you don't need to head into the woods to enjoy one of them. The dark green CASUAL cushion cover by pad brings a calm, natural character to sofas, armchairs and beds with its muted, slightly olive-toned shade and finely ribbed texture. Narrow, evenly spaced ribs create a gently structured surface that catches the light and reveals subtle variations in colour throughout the day. Measuring 50 x 50 cm, the square cushion cover offers generous proportions for comfortable lounging and works beautifully either on its own or layered with other decorative cushions. Made from 92% polyester and 8% polyacrylic, the fabric has a soft, inviting textile feel while remaining practical for everyday living. The deep green colour feels warm and understated, yet brings enough personality to give a room a fresh perspective. A pad cushion cover for anyone who appreciates natural shades, interesting textures and interiors that feel welcoming rather than overly arranged.
Comfort with a little texture and character
The CASUAL collection from pad demonstrates just how much difference a thoughtfully designed fabric can make. Instead of bold prints or decorative motifs, the focus is on its distinctive ribbed surface. This subtle detail introduces depth to a cushion arrangement and creates a pleasing contrast alongside smooth upholstery, chunky knitted throws and other home textiles. The square 50 x 50 cm format accommodates a matching cushion insert and looks equally inviting on a generous sofa or arranged as a decorative accent on a bed. Dark green pairs particularly well with natural shades, warm wood, beige and cream. Charcoal grey, rust and mustard yellow also make interesting companions for a more expressive interior. Everyday care is refreshingly straightforward. The cushion cover can be machine washed at 30°C, gently tumble dried on a low setting and ironed at temperatures up to 110°C. Bleaching is not permitted, while professional cleaning with perchloroethylene is possible. OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certification confirms that the textile has been tested for harmful substances. Reassuring details for a cushion cover designed to be enjoyed rather than simply admired from a distance.
Unexpected beginnings and a genuine love of textiles
The story of pad began with a rather unexpected change of direction. Founder Michael Rossmann was preparing to move to Australia when an unsuccessful client project inspired him to establish his own home textile brand. Today, pad is based in Mertingen, Bavaria, creating collections that explore colour, material and contemporary design with an unmistakable sense of curiosity. Behind its cushions, throws and home accessories is a team with a genuine passion for textile craftsmanship and thoughtful details. Production takes place predominantly in Europe, often in collaboration with carefully selected smaller manufacturers. The dark green CASUAL cushion cover is made in Hungary, reflecting the brand's commitment to European production. Its understated appearance reveals a quieter side of pad, a name often associated with vibrant colours and expressive designs. At LIVOSY, we appreciate this balance between creativity and restraint. We believe the most rewarding home accessories are those that bring personality into everyday life without demanding constant attention. Pieces that feel just as welcome tomorrow as they do today.
Green gets along with almost everyone
The dark green CASUAL cushion cover makes it easy to refresh a living space without changing everything around it. Against a cream or beige sofa, it introduces a natural accent, while darker upholstery allows its ribbed texture to create subtle visual interest. Pair it with cushions in sand, taupe, warm grey or complementary shades of green for a relaxed, cohesive look. For something a little more playful, add patterned cushion covers, stronger colours or a softly draped throw from the pad collection. Mixing shapes and sizes can be particularly effective. Combine this square 50 x 50 cm cover with rectangular 35 x 60 cm cushions to create an inviting arrangement that feels collected rather than carefully staged. Its muted colour and tactile surface make CASUAL a versatile choice for contemporary interiors, nature-inspired spaces and homes that embrace an individual mix of materials. Discover a cushion cover that brings a little extra warmth and character to the places where you love spending time.
