Happiness looks rather lovely in pink
Apparently, happiness has a favourite colour. And judging by this cushion cover, it has a rather good sense of humour too. The pad glück(l)ich Rose cushion cover from the LETTERS collection pairs a delicate rose-pink background with vibrant turquoise-blue lettering, creating a cheerful contrast that feels fresh, playful and wonderfully relaxed. The German word “glück(l)ich” is a clever twist on “glücklich”, meaning “happy”, with the bracketed letter turning a familiar expression into a playful typographic message. Its large, slightly irregular letters have a hand-drawn appearance, giving the design a personal character rather than the formality of conventional typography. Measuring 35 × 60 cm, this rectangular cushion cover is a lovely addition to a sofa, armchair or bed, bringing variety to arrangements of square cushions. Made from 100% polyester, it combines a practical fabric with a design that is full of personality. The gentle pink keeps the overall look soft, while the bright blue lettering adds just enough energy to make you look twice. A pad cushion design for anyone who appreciates a little colour, a clever word game and the occasional reason to smile.
Pink has a playful side
The charm of this decorative cushion cover lies in the unexpected combination of soft and lively colours. The rose-pink background creates a warm, gentle impression, while the turquoise-blue lettering introduces a refreshing contrast. Together, they bring personality into a room without overwhelming the surrounding furniture. Against a cream sofa, the design feels light and inviting; paired with natural wood, neutral upholstery or warm textiles, it adds a cheerful accent. It also works beautifully alongside stronger shades such as petrol blue, coral or burgundy, allowing you to create a more colourful arrangement. Thanks to its 35 × 60 cm rectangular shape, the cover is particularly suited to layering in front of larger square cushions or adding a decorative finishing touch to a neatly made bed. It is easy to care for, too: wash at 30°C and iron at temperatures up to 150°C. Bleaching and tumble drying should be avoided. A suitable 35 × 60 cm cushion insert is required to complete the look.
A happy thought, beautifully expressed
German home textiles brand pad has a particular affection for colour, expressive patterns and designs that bring personality into everyday living. Founded by Michael Rossmann following an unexpected change in his professional plans, the company has developed into an international brand for cushions, throws and home accessories. From its headquarters in Mertingen, Bavaria, the team creates new collections inspired by fashion, textile design and a relaxed approach to interiors. The LETTERS collection captures this spirit by turning words into decorative statements, allowing cushions to express a little humour, affection or individuality. According to pad, carefully selected manufacturing partners and fair working conditions are central to its approach. While many of the brand's products are manufactured in Europe, this particular cushion cover is made in China. At LIVOSY, we appreciate pieces that bring something personal to a home. An inviting interior is not about following every trend or making everything match. It is about choosing colours, textures and objects that feel right for the people who live there, including the occasional playful surprise.
Good company makes happiness even better
The glück(l)ich Rose cushion cover is particularly charming when paired with understated companions. Arrange it alongside plain cushions in cream, sand or light grey to give the turquoise lettering plenty of room to shine. For a more colourful combination, introduce cushions in petrol blue, mint or warm orange, picking up the lively spirit of the design. A cosy throw, natural fabrics and a mixture of cushion shapes will add warmth and depth to the arrangement. The cover also pairs beautifully with other typographic designs from the pad LETTERS collection, allowing different messages and colours to create a personal little story on your sofa. For an especially cheerful combination, try it alongside the glück(l)ich Aqua version, which reverses the mood with a soft blue background and orange lettering. Whether chosen as a thoughtful gift for someone special or as a playful addition to your own home, this cushion cover brings together colour, character and a lovely sense of light-heartedness. Discover glück(l)ich Rose and let a little happiness find its place in your favourite corner. It might just decide to stay.
