Product information "Cushion Cover Grey 50x50 cm"
Grey has a rather cosy side
There's still a little space on the sofa. At least until the grey CASUAL cushion cover by pad comes along and makes itself comfortable. With its square 50 x 50 cm shape, distinctive ribbed texture and beautifully muted grey shade, it brings a relaxed balance of calm and character to your living space. Narrow, closely spaced ribs create a tactile surface that catches the light, revealing subtle variations in shade and giving the plain fabric a surprising sense of depth. The mid-grey colour feels contemporary without appearing cold, making it an easy companion for natural neutrals, warm wooden furniture and more expressive accents. Made from 92% polyester and 8% polyacrylic, the cushion cover combines a soft textile feel with a practical, easy-care material blend. Its generous proportions make it a lovely addition to sofas, armchairs and beds, whether used as a single decorative accent or layered with other cushions. A pad cushion cover that doesn't need bold prints to make an impression. Its finely ribbed surface is quite happy to do the talking.
It's all in the texture
CASUAL is one of those home textiles that finds its character in the fabric itself. The evenly ribbed surface creates a subtle interplay of light and shade, bringing depth and tactile interest to a room. It looks particularly inviting alongside smooth upholstery, chunky knitted throws or cushions featuring larger decorative patterns. The square 50 x 50 cm format accommodates a matching cushion insert and offers generous proportions for leaning back and relaxing. At the same time, the grey cover remains wonderfully adaptable, fitting naturally into minimalist interiors as well as more colourful arrangements of different materials and designs. Everyday care is refreshingly simple. The cover can be machine washed at 30°C, gently tumble dried on a low setting and ironed at temperatures up to 110°C. Bleaching is not permitted, while professional cleaning with perchloroethylene is possible. OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certification also confirms that the textile has been tested for harmful substances. Reassuring details for a cushion cover intended to be enjoyed every day, rather than carefully arranged for its next photograph.
A love of textiles and a talent for unexpected turns
The story behind pad began with a rather unexpected change of plans. Founder Michael Rossmann was preparing to move to Australia when an unsuccessful client project inspired him to launch his own home textile collection. What started as a spontaneous decision developed into a brand that now supplies cushions, throws and home accessories to more than 30 countries from its base in Mertingen, Bavaria. At the heart of pad is an enthusiasm for colour, a genuine appreciation of materials and an eye for the textile details that make a difference. Production takes place predominantly in Europe, often in collaboration with carefully selected smaller manufacturers. The grey CASUAL cushion cover is made in Hungary, reflecting this European approach to production. Its restrained design reveals a quieter side of a brand often associated with expressive patterns and vibrant colours. At LIVOSY, we appreciate this combination of creativity and lasting appeal. We believe good home accessories should feel naturally at home in everyday life, offering pleasure beyond the latest interior trend. After all, a favourite cushion deserves to stay longer than the next decorating idea.
A little grey leaves room for plenty of colour
The grey CASUAL cushion cover is an adaptable companion that allows other colours to shine while retaining plenty of character of its own. Against a light-coloured sofa, it creates a gentle contrast, while darker upholstery brings its ribbed texture into focus. It pairs beautifully with cushions in cream, sand, taupe and warm beige. For a more expressive arrangement, introduce dark green, rust, mustard yellow or patterned cushion covers from the pad collection. A softly draped throw adds another appealing layer of texture. Mixing different sizes can make the overall look feel particularly relaxed. Pairing the square 50 x 50 cm cover with rectangular 35 x 60 cm cushions creates a pleasing balance of shapes on a sofa or bed. Whether placed on its own in a favourite armchair or arranged among a collection of decorative cushions, CASUAL feels effortlessly at home. Discover a piece from pad that can be styled in countless ways, bringing a little extra warmth and personality to the spaces where you love spending time.
