Cushion Cover Grey 50x50 cm

A little grey, a lot to feel at home with

The best spots on the sofa are usually taken. With the LORD cushion cover by pad in grey, there's at least a good reason to make a little more room. Measuring 50 x 50 cm, this square cushion cover combines a muted, slightly warm grey shade with a finely mottled fabric surface, bringing a relaxed sense of calm to your living space. Look a little closer and the subtle texture reveals gentle variations in tone, giving the colour depth as the light changes throughout the day. Made from 100% polypropylene (Harmolan®), the cover offers an attractive textile appearance in a material suited to everyday use. Its generous square proportions work beautifully on sofas, armchairs and beds, while the absence of bold patterns, decorative lettering or elaborate motifs allows the colour and fabric texture to take centre stage. The result is a grey cushion cover that feels neither cold nor overly formal, but naturally inviting. A pad cushion cover for anyone who enjoys combining colours and materials without turning the entire living room into a design statement. Understated, certainly, but with plenty of character.

It's all about finding the right balance

Grey is a surprisingly sociable colour. It works beautifully with pale natural shades, richer accents and a wide variety of materials, creating a gentle connection between different elements in a room. The LORD cushion cover in 50 x 50 cm is particularly suited to use as a larger decorative sofa cushion, part of a layered arrangement on the bed or a comfortable-looking accent on a spacious lounge chair. Against cream or beige upholstery, it introduces a little more depth, while alongside dark leather, anthracite or warm wooden furniture, it settles naturally into the overall setting. Its subtly textured surface adds visual interest without the need for a pattern. LORD also offers practical qualities for everyday living. The fabric is certified to OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100, meaning it has been tested for harmful substances. The cover can be washed on a gentle cycle at 60°C. Bleaching, ironing and tumble drying are not recommended, while professional cleaning with perchloroethylene is permitted. Add a suitable 50 x 50 cm cushion pad to give the cover its full shape and create an inviting decorative detail for your favourite place to unwind.

A good lord doesn't need a grand entrance

The story behind pad began with a rather unexpected change of plans. Founder Michael Rossmann had developed a home accessories collection for a client when the project suddenly lost its financial backing. Instead of abandoning the idea, he decided to launch the products himself. Today, pad is based in Mertingen, Bavaria, creating cushions, throws and home accessories that celebrate creative design, interesting fabrics and a genuine passion for colour. The brand is known for expressive patterns and unexpected combinations, yet the LORD collection demonstrates its appreciation for quieter design as well. Here, textile texture, simple shapes and versatile colours take the lead. This grey cushion cover is made in Hungary, reflecting the European manufacturing approach found across much of pad's range. The brand works with selected production partners and places importance on fair working conditions and thoughtful material choices. At LIVOSY, we appreciate this approach to home accessories. We believe the most rewarding pieces are those that earn their place through thoughtful design, material quality and the pleasure they continue to bring over time, rather than through passing trends.

Grey gets along with almost everyone

The LORD cushion cover in grey makes combining colours and textures wonderfully straightforward. Pair it with other pad cushion covers in cream, sand or warm beige to create a calm, natural palette that works beautifully alongside wooden furniture, ceramics and light home textiles. For a little more contrast, introduce anthracite, deep blue or olive green. A single accent in rusty red or terracotta can also bring a more expressive touch without disturbing the relaxed atmosphere. Different cushion sizes add another layer of interest: the square 50 x 50 cm LORD cover pairs naturally with the rectangular 30 x 50 cm version, creating a pleasing variation in proportions. A coordinating pad throw or a loosely textured blanket adds warmth and another tactile dimension to the arrangement. One of the most appealing things about grey is its ability to move comfortably between seasons and decorating styles. It feels equally at home in light, airy summer interiors and cosy winter spaces with deeper colours and warm lighting. That leaves plenty of freedom to rearrange your favourite pieces whenever the mood strikes. Discover LORD by pad at LIVOSY and bring a little more calm to your sofa.
