Cushion Cover Sand 50x50 cm

A warm sandy shade that feels right at home

Sunlight falls through the window, a soft throw rests on the sofa and suddenly the afternoon looks rather inviting. The sand-coloured CASUAL cushion cover by pad fits beautifully into this kind of moment. With its square 50 x 50 cm shape, finely ribbed surface and warm beige tone, it brings a relaxed, natural character to your living space. Closely spaced ribs create a tactile texture that catches the light, revealing subtle variations in shade and giving the understated colour a pleasing sense of depth. There's no need for bold prints or decorative motifs when the fabric itself has this much character. Made from 92% polyester and 8% polyacrylic, the cover combines a soft textile feel with a practical material blend suited to everyday living. Its light sandy shade recalls natural materials and pairs beautifully with wooden furniture, linen upholstery, warm greys and more expressive colours. Measuring 50 x 50 cm, the cushion cover offers generous proportions for sofas, armchairs and beds, whether styled on its own or layered with other decorative cushions. A pad cushion cover that brings a little holiday feeling into everyday life, without anyone having to pack a suitcase.

A little calm with plenty of texture

The CASUAL collection from pad shows just how interesting plain-coloured home textiles can be when the material and texture take centre stage. Its evenly ribbed surface gives the cushion cover a tactile depth and creates a lovely contrast alongside smooth upholstery, chunky knitted throws or patterned cushions. The square 50 x 50 cm format accommodates a matching cushion insert and offers generous proportions for getting comfortable on the sofa. At the same time, the warm sand shade feels inviting and understated, making it easy to introduce into a wide variety of interiors. It pairs particularly well with cream, taupe, white, olive green and warm brown. Everyday care is equally straightforward. The cover can be machine washed at 30°C, gently tumble dried on a low setting and ironed at temperatures up to 110°C. Bleaching is not permitted, while professional cleaning with perchloroethylene is possible. OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certification also confirms that the textile has been tested for harmful substances. Thoughtful details for a home accessory designed to become part of everyday life rather than something reserved purely for decoration.

A passion for textiles, without the rigid rules

Behind pad is a brand driven by curiosity, creativity and a genuine enthusiasm for materials. Its story began with an unexpected change of direction. Founder Michael Rossmann was originally preparing to move to Australia when an unsuccessful client project led him to establish his own home textile company. Today, pad is based in Mertingen, Bavaria, developing cushions, throws and home accessories that have found their way into homes in more than 30 countries. The collections are shaped by contemporary design, distinctive fabrics and the pleasure of creating individual living spaces. Production takes place predominantly in Europe, often in collaboration with carefully selected smaller manufacturers. The sand-coloured CASUAL cushion cover is made in Hungary, reflecting this European approach to production. Its understated appearance reveals a quieter side of a brand often associated with vibrant colours and expressive patterns. At LIVOSY, we appreciate this balance of personality and calm. We believe the most rewarding home accessories are those that bring a story with them while fitting naturally into everyday life. After all, a welcoming home isn't created by following rigid rules, but by choosing pieces you genuinely enjoy living with.

Sand gets along beautifully with almost everything

The sand-coloured CASUAL cushion cover is a versatile companion for interiors that embrace warmth and lightness. Against a pale sofa, it creates a harmonious arrangement of natural shades, while darker upholstery provides a gentle contrast for its inviting colour. It pairs beautifully with cream, warm grey, taupe and olive green. For a more expressive look, introduce cushions in terracotta, rust or dark green to create a layered arrangement that feels lively yet balanced. Patterned cushion covers and softly draped throws from the pad collection also make lovely companions for its finely ribbed texture. Mixing different sizes adds further interest. Pair the square 50 x 50 cm cover with rectangular 35 x 60 cm cushions for a relaxed combination of shapes and proportions. Whether placed on its own in a favourite armchair, arranged on a bed or layered among several decorative cushions on the sofa, CASUAL adapts naturally to different surroundings.
