Cushion Cover White 50x50 cm

White, soft and wonderfully understated

A white cushion on the sofa might sound like a rather safe choice. Until you take a closer look and discover just how much character a thoughtfully textured fabric can bring. The white CASUAL cushion cover by pad combines a finely ribbed surface, generous square 50 x 50 cm proportions and a fresh, bright colour to create an inviting sense of lightness in your living space. Narrow, closely spaced ribs give the fabric an even, tactile texture that catches the light, creating delicate shadows and lending surprising depth to the simple white design. Made from 92% polyester and 8% polyacrylic, the cushion cover combines a soft textile feel with a practical, easy-care material blend. Its generous square shape makes it a lovely addition to sofas, armchairs and beds, whether styled as a single decorative cushion or layered with different colours and sizes. The clean white shade allows other materials and colours to shine while retaining plenty of presence of its own. A pad cushion cover that doesn't need to demand attention to make an impression. Sometimes, a little texture says quite enough.

The pleasure of keeping things simple

The CASUAL collection from pad proves that understated design can be anything but ordinary. Rather than relying on bold patterns or decorative motifs, the focus is on the distinctive ribbed fabric surface. This introduces a tactile sense of depth and creates interesting contrasts alongside smooth upholstery, chunky knitted throws or patterned cushions. The square 50 x 50 cm format accommodates a matching cushion insert and offers generous proportions for leaning back and relaxing. White is also wonderfully versatile. Against pale upholstery, the cover creates a harmonious arrangement of different textures, while darker sofas provide a beautiful contrast for its bright colour. Everyday care is refreshingly straightforward. The cushion cover can be machine washed at 30°C, gently tumble dried on a low setting and ironed at temperatures up to 110°C. Bleaching is not permitted, while professional cleaning with perchloroethylene is possible. OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certification confirms that the textile has been tested for harmful substances. These thoughtful details make CASUAL a home accessory designed to be enjoyed every day, rather than something reserved for special occasions.

A colourful story behind a white cushion

Behind pad is a brand that enjoys exploring new ideas through colours, materials and contemporary designs. Its story began with an unexpected change of plans. Founder Michael Rossmann was preparing to move to Australia when an unsuccessful client project inspired him to launch his own home textile collection. Today, pad is based in Mertingen, Bavaria, developing cushions, throws and home accessories that have found their way into homes in more than 30 countries. The collections reflect a genuine passion for textile design, distinctive fabrics and the pleasure of creating individual living spaces. Production takes place predominantly in Europe, often in collaboration with carefully selected smaller manufacturers. The white CASUAL cushion cover is made in Hungary, reflecting this European approach to manufacturing. Its restrained design reveals a quieter side of a brand often associated with expressive patterns and vibrant colours. At LIVOSY, we appreciate this combination of creativity and calm. We believe home accessories should bring personality into everyday life without constantly demanding attention. Good design leaves room for change and continues to feel right long after the next interior trend has arrived.

A blank canvas for your favourite combinations

The white CASUAL cushion cover is an easy starting point for a wide variety of interior combinations. Against a beige or cream sofa, it creates a harmonious arrangement of light neutrals, while darker upholstery provides a fresh, defined contrast. It looks particularly appealing alongside sand, taupe, warm grey and natural wooden furniture. For a more expressive look, introduce dark green, terracotta, rust or patterned cushions from the pad collection. A soft throw with a chunkier texture makes an equally lovely companion for the cover's delicate ribs, bringing another inviting layer to the sofa. Thanks to its square 50 x 50 cm proportions, CASUAL pairs beautifully with rectangular 35 x 60 cm cushions, creating a relaxed arrangement of different shapes without making the space feel crowded. It also works wonderfully on its own, adding a bright decorative touch to a favourite armchair or bed.
