During the first year, a sleepy little face turns into a smile; in the second, tentative steps develop a surprising amount of speed; and by year three, you may find yourself wondering when all of that actually happened. The PRINTWORKS My First 3 Years Baby Album captures this wonderfully busy chapter in three individual photo albums, with one volume dedicated to each of the first three years. Together, they sit neatly inside a pale blue fabric-covered slipcase, giving the set the presence of a small book collection. Each album has its own identity: year one comes in white with silver-coloured details and a balloon motif, year two in beige with a gold-coloured moon and stars, and year three in dark blue with a gold-coloured teddy bear. Fabric covers and considered typography give the set the look of a coffee table book, while the story inside is entirely your own. Each album contains 80 pages of wood-free paper, providing plenty of room for baby photographs, family portraits, handwritten notes and memories. The complete set measures 28.7 x 20.2 x 11.5 cm and weighs approximately 2 kg, with cotton and polyester used for the textile elements alongside paper and sturdy chipboard for the book and slipcase construction.
