Little moments tend to have rather good stories
Coffee on the first morning of a holiday, a wonderfully wonky birthday cake, bare feet in summer or the rare photograph in which every friend is actually looking at the camera: the PRINTWORKS Little Moments Big Memories Photo Album in Orange was made for precisely these pictures. Even before the first photograph goes in, there is plenty to look at. The fabric-covered exterior combines warm orange and rust-red tones with pink and pale lettering, giving the album much more in common with a contemporary art book than something destined for the back of a cupboard. Measuring 27 x 24.5 x 5 cm and weighing approximately 0.8 kg, it has a compact yet noticeable presence on a coffee table, sideboard or bookshelf. Inside, 30 pages provide room to arrange family photographs, holiday memories, wedding pictures and everyday stories in your own way. Paper, fabric and metal give the album its distinctive combination of book object and personal keepsake, while the paper materials are FSC® certified. A metal ring mechanism holds the pages in place and gives this PRINTWORKS photo album the flexibility to develop along with the memories inside it.
The cloud can have the afternoon off
A digital photo book is convenient. An album you put together yourselves offers a different kind of pleasure. Here, you choose not only which photographs deserve a place but how they sit alongside one another. Give a favourite picture an entire page, add a handwritten memory beside another, then slip in tickets, drawings or little keepsakes collected along the way. For family holidays, the process itself can become part of the memory, with everyone choosing photographs and recalling stories together. It also makes a thoughtful wedding, anniversary, birthday or new-family gift because it does not arrive completely finished. At LIVOSY, you can find coordinating accessories including additional pages, photo corners and baby inserts to make the album even more personal. The ring binding keeps the format flexible and makes it easy to return to the pages again and again. Which is rather the point of keeping good photographs somewhere you can actually reach them.
A coffee table book with a familiar cast
PRINTWORKS was founded in Stockholm in 2017 from a desire to create a little more room for analogue moments in an increasingly digital world. Rather than leaving thousands of photographs on a phone or somewhere in the cloud, the brand invites us to bring memories back into our hands. Photo albums, games and other familiar objects are reimagined as pieces designed to remain part of the interior rather than disappear into a drawer. Little Moments Big Memories captures that philosophy beautifully. It has the visual presence of a coffee table book and sits naturally alongside volumes from publishers such as Assouline or TASCHEN, yet the contents are entirely your own. It is a combination that feels very LIVOSY too: good design earns its place in a home by having something more to offer than appearance alone. In this case, that something happens to be your photographs.
Orange looks rather good with memories
The warm orange cover brings a confident splash of colour to stacks of neutral books and works particularly well with dark timber, pale stone, glass or chrome. Pair it with cream and white coffee table books for a calmer arrangement, or introduce pink, burgundy and rich green for something more expressive. Little Moments Big Memories also makes an especially personal gift when you fill the first few pages yourself and leave the rest ready for photographs that have yet to be taken. Additional pages, photo corners and baby inserts from LIVOSY give you more freedom to shape the album as the story grows. And should an analogue afternoon turn into an evening together, PRINTWORKS backgammon, chess, memory and card games make rather good companions. Little moments, big memories. Some of them deserve better than another swipe of the screen.
