Deer Metal Red 15 cm

A little deer in a rather festive mood

Among fir branches, candlelight and those baubles that somehow end up at the very bottom of the box every year, there is always room for a new arrival. Scheulen’s red deer is a hanging Christmas decoration made from metal and measuring 15 cm in height, bringing colour, shape and a charming winter accent to the Christmas tree. Its deer silhouette takes a familiar festive motif and gives it a clean decorative presence through the red metal finish. At 15 cm tall, it is large enough to catch the eye among branches and other Christmas ornaments without trying to take over the entire tree. That makes it pleasantly versatile: hang it traditionally from the tree, place it on a decorated branch, add it to a winter arrangement or use it as a small detail on a wreath. There is a reason red keeps returning every Christmas, after all. It sits beautifully alongside natural greenery, wood, glass and warm candlelight.

Christmas decoration that settles in rather easily

Scheulen Christmas decorations bring a traditional winter motif into an uncomplicated, contemporary setting. The metal gives this deer a cleaner, more graphic appearance than many textile or highly ornate ornaments, while the motif itself remains reassuringly familiar. It can therefore move easily between different festive styles. Place it amongst classic red and gold baubles or introduce it to a quieter arrangement of wood, paper decorations, fir branches and a few carefully chosen accessories.

The hanging metal deer is equally at home away from the Christmas tree. Try it on a single branch in a generous vase, on an Advent wreath or as part of a decorated window. Several matching ornaments can also carry the red accent through different areas of a room. Seasonal decorating does not necessarily need more and more pieces; repeating a few colours and motifs can create a wonderfully considered atmosphere.

75 years of experience, and decoration still feels exciting

Scheulen has been working with objects that change the atmosphere of a space for quite some time. Founded by Hans-Ulrich Scheulen in 1951, the company developed from a seed retailer into a specialist supplier of floristry materials, decorations and gift items. Easter and Advent decorations became part of its range as early as the 1970s. Today, the family business is run by Bernd and Lutz Scheulen and celebrates its 75th anniversary in 2026.

That background feels particularly fitting for a Christmas accessory such as this red metal deer: seasonal and decorative, yet based on a motif that has been part of winter interiors for generations. At LIVOSY, we especially appreciate pieces that leave room for your own interpretation. The deer can join an abundant Christmas display or appear as one deliberate splash of colour amongst quieter materials. How festive things become is entirely up to you.

Red meets fir green. They already know each other.

The 15 cm deer looks particularly inviting alongside glass baubles, natural wooden ornaments and warm metallic shades. For a calmer Christmas palette, combine its red finish with cream, brown, deep green and clear glass. Prefer something more traditional? Gold details, candles and rich fir greenery will happily join in. The ornament can even become part of the Christmas table, suspended from a decorative branch or incorporated into a seasonal arrangement alongside your table decorations.

The Scheulen red metal deer is an easy addition for anyone who enjoys familiar Christmas motifs presented with a clean, contemporary feel. On the tree, hanging from a branch or somewhere unexpected within your festive decorations, it adds just the right note of red. And once Christmas is over? Back into the box it goes. Perhaps a little closer to the top this time.
