Felt Christmas Tree Green 80 cm

A Christmas tree that makes an impression without dropping needles

At 80 cm tall, this Christmas tree is hardly trying to disappear into the background, yet it remains pleasantly understated. The freestanding tree by Scheulen is made from green felt and translates the familiar fir-tree silhouette into a clean, three-dimensional decorative object. Interlocking felt sections give the tree volume and allow it to stand independently, while the tiered edges echo layers of fir branches. Different viewing angles reveal changing lines and areas of light and shade, giving the pared-back construction considerably more depth than you might expect at first glance. The fresh green introduces a lively, natural note to Christmas décor and appears lighter than the dark green version in the range. At 80 cm high, this felt Christmas tree has enough presence for a carefully chosen spot on a low sideboard, console or wide windowsill and can equally become part of a floor-level arrangement. It does not necessarily need additional decoration. No baubles, no fairy lights and no debate about tinsel. Simply give it a place.

80 centimetres with a good sense of space

Its generous height turns the green felt tree into a genuine part of the room rather than simply another piece of tabletop decoration. On low furniture it introduces a strong vertical line, beside a cabinet or console it can bring a festive note to an open corner, and within a larger display it becomes a natural focal point. The green works beautifully with wood, cream, warm white and earthy colours. Ceramics lend the arrangement a calmer feel, glass adds visual lightness and selected metal accessories create an appealing contrast with the matt felt surface. Add warm candlelight and perhaps a few natural fir branches for a Christmas setting that feels more like home than a shop window. There is still plenty of room for favourite objects you already own, allowing the arrangement to evolve rather than starting from scratch every December.

A long story of greenery and decoration

Green has been part of the Scheulen story for rather a long time. In 1951, Hans-Ulrich Scheulen began with a seed business, delivering his products by motorbike around Mönchengladbach and the surrounding area. Customers soon began requesting ribbon, wire, pine cones, Iceland moss and candles too, laying the foundations for the company's traditional floristry range. Decorative objects, gifts and seasonal products for Easter and Advent were added over the following decades. In 2026, the family business celebrates its 75th anniversary and, following the generational transition, is now led by Bernd and Lutz Scheulen. This felt Christmas tree reflects that longstanding connection with floristry and seasonal decoration in a refreshingly simple way. It also sits naturally within the LIVOSY philosophy: creating atmosphere with pieces that complement a home rather than asking everything else to move aside for the season.

One makes a statement, several make a forest

On its own, the 80 cm tree makes excellent use of its height. Combine it with Scheulen's 40 and 60 cm felt trees and the varying proportions create a layered woodland scene with considerably more depth. Mixing this fresh green with the dark green versions adds another dimension, while keeping the overall composition natural and coherent. Wood, ceramics, glass, candles and a few carefully chosen metallic Christmas accessories can then be added around the trees. A long sideboard offers enough space for an entire miniature Christmas landscape, while a floor-level display needs only a few pieces to make an impact. The 80 cm version naturally becomes the tallest tree in the little forest. Prefer things more pared back? Let it stand alone. Even a Christmas tree is allowed a little personal space.
