Paper Snowman White 30 cm

Snow indoors. No wet socks required.

A snowman that requires neither freezing temperatures nor a conveniently snow-covered garden has certain advantages. Scheulen’s white paper snowman brings the familiar winter character indoors as a 30 cm tall standing Christmas decoration, replacing actual snowballs with sculptural folded paper. Once opened, the individual paper layers form a three-dimensional silhouette with a distinctive honeycomb structure. The pure white colour allows light and shadow to play across the folds, giving this cheerful seasonal character a surprisingly calm, graphic appearance. A magnetic closure keeps the snowman open and in shape; after Christmas, it can simply be folded flat again for space-saving storage. At 30 cm tall, it has enough presence to stand alone on a sideboard, windowsill, console or chest of drawers while remaining easy to combine with other festive decorations. The result is a playful winter classic reimagined as a restrained paper object, bringing a hint of snowy atmosphere indoors without requiring the living room to become a complete winter wonderland.

White does Christmas rather well

Its restrained colour makes this paper snowman a particularly versatile piece of Scheulen Christmas décor. Against fir green, the white looks crisp and wintry, while warm candlelight emphasises the depth of the folded surface. Ivory, natural wood and transparent glass create a calmer setting; red, burgundy or deep green introduce stronger traditional Christmas contrasts. The 30 cm figure can also extend a festive table setting beyond the table itself, placed on a nearby sideboard or console amongst candles and winter greenery. Thanks to its three-dimensional paper construction, it already brings plenty of character, so there is little need to surround it with an entire cast of festive extras.

A winter favourite discovers paper

Scheulen has been involved in floristry supplies and decoration since 1951. From its beginnings as a seed retailer, the family business expanded over the decades into floristry products, decorative objects, gifts and seasonal collections for Easter and Advent. In 2026, Scheulen celebrates 75 years in business. The paper snowman fits naturally into this decorative world: a character familiar across generations is given a contemporary expression through an unexpected material and sculptural folding. Instead of a conventional Christmas figure made from wood, ceramic or metal, paper creates something that feels familiar yet pleasantly reduced. That idea feels at home at LIVOSY too. Christmas can keep its nostalgic characters while still leaving plenty of room for a more contemporary interior.

Come January, he needs considerably less room

The white snowman combines easily with other paper figures and accessories from the Scheulen Christmas collection. Different honeycomb structures and heights can create an interesting arrangement, while a restrained colour palette keeps the overall mood calm. White looks particularly atmospheric alongside green, warm natural tones and occasional gold-coloured details; blue, smoked glass and silver create a cooler winter palette. And while a real snowman eventually disappears of his own accord, this one handles the end of the season rather more neatly: release the magnetic closure, fold the paper figure flat and store it until next winter. Thirty centimetres of festive presence in December, with refreshingly modest storage requirements for the rest of the year.
