Paper Tree Dark Red 15 cm

A small tree with rather good presence

Fitting Christmas into 15 centimetres sounds slightly ambitious. This paper tree by Scheulen manages it with surprising charm. Made from dark red paper, it unfolds into a three-dimensional fir tree silhouette with numerous delicate folds that give the small decorative object volume, depth and an almost textile-like appearance. The rich red feels warm and festive without turning the room into a traditional Christmas scene. Better still, the idea behind it is wonderfully uncomplicated: simply unfold the tree, secure it with the magnetic closure and place it on a dining table, sideboard, windowsill or shelf. Once the festivities are over, it folds flat again for space-saving storage. At 15 cm tall, this Scheulen Christmas decoration is deliberately compact, making it equally suited to smaller arrangements, festive table decorations or a warm splash of colour among candles, glassware and other seasonal accessories.

Unfold, stand, Christmas can begin

The dark red paper tree gets its distinctive character from the combination of a simple silhouette and a surprisingly lively surface. Its many fanned paper layers recall a honeycomb structure, creating changing areas of light and shadow as you move around it. As a result, it needs very little company to make an impression. One tree works beautifully on a side table, while several paper trees in different sizes can create a small winter landscape. Its 15 cm height is particularly useful on the Christmas dining table: it adds colour and texture without turning conversations across the table into an obstacle course through the forest. And once the season is over, the foldable construction takes up considerably less cupboard space than many solid three-dimensional Christmas decorations.

75 years of ideas for rooms, tables and seasons

Behind the paper tree is Scheulen, a company whose story began in 1951 with seeds and traditional floristry supplies. Over the decades, the business developed a broad collection encompassing floristry, decorative objects and seasonal pieces, and in 2026 Scheulen celebrates its 75th anniversary. It is a fitting background for an object like this: uncomplicated in concept, decorative in character and versatile enough to be styled differently each Christmas. That is exactly the kind of seasonal decoration we appreciate at LIVOSY. It brings atmosphere to a room without dictating an entire decorating scheme. Paper gives the tree a light, almost graphic quality, while dark red takes a familiar Christmas colour and gives it a quieter, contemporary expression.

A little forest is welcome at the table

The 15 cm paper tree combines beautifully with other sizes and colours from Scheulen's Christmas collection. Group several trees on a sideboard, windowsill or dining table to create a miniature fir forest, or let a single dark red tree provide a considered seasonal accent between candle holders, lanterns and understated home accessories. Natural materials, wood and cream or brown shades create a warm setting, while glass, metal and crisp white bring a cleaner, more contemporary mood. It also slips naturally into a festive tablescape alongside plates, glasses and napkins. After Christmas, simply fold it away until next year. Good seasonal decorations deserve another appearance, after all – preferably looking slightly different each time.
