Paper Tree Pastel Green 15 cm

Christmas can do quiet green, too

Somewhere between traditional fir green and winter white sits a shade that makes Christmas feel wonderfully relaxed. Scheulen's paper tree stands 15 cm tall and is made from paper in a soft pastel green, giving the familiar fir silhouette a lighter, more contemporary character. Once unfolded, its numerous paper layers create a three-dimensional shape with several gently curved tiers. The delicate honeycomb structure adds depth, with small shadows appearing between the folds as the light changes. Setting it up could hardly be simpler: unfold the tree, secure the integrated magnetic closure and it stands freely on a dining table, sideboard, windowsill or shelf. After Christmas, it folds flat again for easy, space-saving storage. Its compact 15 cm height makes this Scheulen Christmas decoration particularly appealing for festive tables and smaller arrangements where a little seasonal atmosphere is welcome, without inviting the entire North Pole into the room.

Pastel green gives Christmas a lighter mood

The colour is what sets this paper tree apart from more traditional Christmas decorations in deep green or red. Its pale pastel green feels calm and allows the sculptural folds to become the main feature. Additional ornaments are hardly necessary because the fanned paper layers provide plenty of detail on their own. Between plates, glasses and candles, the 15 cm version adds height and texture to a Christmas table without interrupting conversations across it. On a sideboard or shelf, it can sit alongside candle holders, bowls and other seasonal accessories. It becomes particularly appealing when paired with the larger 25 cm paper tree or with versions in green and dark red. Mixing heights and colours turns just a few trees into a miniature winter landscape that feels considered without becoming overly arranged.

75 years and a rather good sense of the seasons

Scheulen's story began in 1951 with seeds. Hans-Ulrich Scheulen delivered his goods around Mönchengladbach and the surrounding area by motorcycle, before growing demand led to the addition of floristry supplies including ribbon, wire, pine cones, Iceland moss and candles. Decorative objects, gifts and seasonal pieces for Easter and Advent followed over the decades. In 2026, Scheulen celebrates its 75th anniversary. This pastel green paper tree reflects that long connection with floristry and seasonal decoration while translating the familiar fir shape into an uncomplicated home accessory. It is an approach that feels at home at LIVOSY too: Christmas can feel familiar while still leaving room for different colours, materials and combinations. Tradition, after all, does not have to wear exactly the same outfit every December.

A winter forest in a lighter shade

Pastel green pairs particularly well with natural and pale tones. Cream, warm white, wood and brown emphasise its calm character, while glass and metal create a crisp contrast with the soft paper texture. For a more traditional festive palette, combine it with dark red or deeper green. Several paper trees from the Scheulen Christmas collection can create a varied arrangement across a dining table, windowsill or sideboard, with the 15 cm version making a natural companion to taller designs. It is equally appealing on its own among candles and favourite decorative pieces. Once the festivities are over, simply open the magnetic closure, fold the tree flat and store it until next Advent. Then the combinations can begin again. Perhaps with red, perhaps with green, or perhaps quietly tone on tone.
