Paper Tree Pastel Green 25 cm

Pastel green seems to understand Christmas rather well

A Christmas tree that sits somewhere between winter calm and traditional festive green, then simply folds flat once the celebrations are over: it almost sounds suspiciously convenient. Scheulen's 25 cm paper tree is made from pastel green paper and unfolds into a three-dimensional fir silhouette with several softly curved tiers. Numerous fanned paper layers create a distinctive honeycomb structure, giving the tree volume while retaining a wonderfully light appearance. Delicate areas of light and shadow form between the folds, allowing its surface to change subtly depending on where you view it from. The soft pastel green takes some of the weight out of the traditional Christmas palette, making this an understated alternative to deep fir green or red. Simply unfold the tree and secure it with the integrated magnetic closure, then place it freestanding on a dining table, sideboard, windowsill or shelf. At 25 cm tall, this Scheulen Christmas decoration has enough presence to anchor an arrangement without demanding much surface space. And once the season is over? Open the magnetic closure, fold it flat and store it away. Christmas really can be that straightforward.

The folds are doing all the decorating

This paper tree has little need for baubles or ornaments because its three-dimensional structure provides plenty of decoration on its own. The individual paper layers fan out around the fir silhouette, creating overlapping contours reminiscent of abstracted branches. At 25 cm high, this interplay of surface, depth and shadow is particularly effective. On a festive dining table, the tree introduces a calm seasonal accent among tableware, glasses and candles. On a sideboard or windowsill, it can be given a little more space and combined with lanterns, bowls or other accessories. Its pale pastel green leaves plenty of room for interpretation, fitting naturally into interiors with organic materials as well as contemporary Christmas schemes built around clean shapes and a carefully edited selection of decorations.

From seeds and Advent to 75 years of experience

Scheulen's story began in 1951 with Hans-Ulrich Scheulen and a shop selling seeds, with deliveries still made by motorcycle at the time. Customers gradually began asking for floristry supplies such as ribbon, wire, pine cones, Iceland moss and candles. Over the decades, this developed into an extensive assortment spanning floristry, decoration, gifts and seasonal pieces for Easter and Advent. In 2026, Scheulen celebrates its 75th anniversary. The pastel green paper tree sits naturally within this established world: a familiar Christmas motif is reinterpreted through material, colour and folding without losing its recognisable character. It is an approach we appreciate at LIVOSY too. Seasonal favourites can return year after year while still leaving enough freedom to create a slightly different Christmas setting each time.

A little forest is allowed to break with tradition

The 25 cm paper tree becomes especially interesting when different sizes and colours are brought together. Pair it with the smaller 15 cm version in pastel green to create an easy sense of rhythm through varying heights. Dark red or deeper green paper trees from the Scheulen Christmas collection introduce stronger colour accents, while cream, warm white, wood and glass complement the softer character of pastel green. Two or three trees can form a miniature Christmas landscape across a sideboard or windowsill, while a single tree has enough character to hold its own on the dining table. Candlelight brings additional depth to the folds and makes the paper structure feel even more sculptural. Once Christmas is over, the arrangement disappears almost as easily as it appeared. Fold the tree flat, store it away and wait for its next outing. Where that will be is a decision for next Christmas.
