Reindeer with Black Antlers Wood 29.5 cm

A little woodland, a little graphic contrast, plenty of Christmas

This reindeer has dressed for Christmas without developing a sudden enthusiasm for glitter. The 29.5 cm tall Christmas figure by Scheulen combines a natural-coloured wooden body with a striking black antler and small dark star pendants around its neck. A fine cord adds to the natural character and gently softens the clean silhouette. Measuring 16 cm wide and 5.5 cm deep, the wooden reindeer has noticeable presence while its slender proportions keep the overall look pleasantly light. A rectangular base gives the figure a secure stance and makes it easy to place on a sideboard, console, windowsill or shelf, or amongst fir branches and candles on a larger table. The contrast is what gives this piece its character: the warm wood effect brings a cosy quality to an arrangement, while the black antler feels almost graphic, giving the familiar reindeer silhouette a more contemporary expression.

Christmas décor that gives tinsel the occasional day off

At just under 30 cm tall, this reindeer certainly does not need to hide. Yet it is surprisingly easy to combine, as its natural and black palette gives this Scheulen Christmas decoration a calm foundation. Fir greenery, pine cones, branches and warm candlelight sit comfortably alongside it, as do cream textiles, black metal, smoked glass and baubles in restrained colours. The figure therefore works beautifully within both natural Christmas settings and more pared-back contemporary interiors. Place it alone on a chest or sideboard for a distinct seasonal accent, or introduce it to a long dining table amongst candle holders and greenery to create a small winter scene. And because its character is not dependent on one particular colour trend, the reindeer can simply return next Advent. Probably without calling ahead.

A long story with an eye for the seasons

Scheulen has been working with objects that bring atmosphere to interiors and decorative arrangements for quite some time. Founded in 1951, the family business developed from selling seeds into floristry supplies and later an extensive selection of decorative, craft and seasonal accessories. In 2026, Scheulen celebrates its 75th anniversary. Its connection to floristry remains an interesting part of the brand’s identity, and the Christmas collection lends itself naturally to personal arrangements rather than fixed decorating schemes. That idea feels very much at home at LIVOSY. Christmas décor can create a mood without taking over the room. This reindeer does exactly that with warm natural tones, a clear silhouette and just enough contrast from its black antler. A seasonal accessory with character that can be styled a little differently every year.

Apparently, a small herd looks rather good indoors

The 29.5 cm wooden reindeer looks particularly charming when combined with the other sizes in the series. Varying heights create a relaxed arrangement across a wide windowsill, console or sideboard, almost forming a small stylised winter landscape. Add candles and lanterns, fir branches, natural ornaments or black accessories that echo the dark antler and star pendants. Prefer things quieter? Let the reindeer stand on its own. At 29.5 × 16 × 5.5 cm, it has enough presence to work beautifully as a solitary decorative piece. The result is a warm, contemporary interpretation of classic Christmas decoration that slips easily amongst the things already in your home. And perhaps it will acquire some company eventually. There is a family, after all.
