An alpaca with remarkably good manners
Paco stands tall, wears a bow tie and looks rather like he has already claimed the cosiest seat in the house. To be fair, he has a convincing case. The WEICH Paco soft toy in Champagne is a handcrafted alpaca covered in wonderfully dense and fluffy Royal Alpaca fur, measuring approximately 30 cm high and 25 cm wide in size M. Its warm beige tone has a calm, natural character, while the signature black silk bow tie adds just the right amount of grandeur. Paco is filled with foam, helping him retain his distinctive upright shape. The fur comes from Huacaya alpaca, known for its fine, gently crimped fibres and wonderfully full, soft texture. The result sits somewhere between cuddly toy, interior accessory and rather charming housemate. Paco is made for cuddles too, of course, although he is not suitable for children under three years of age.

WEICH Couture Alpaca grew from a close connection with Peru and its long tradition of alpaca farming and craftsmanship. The brand's story began with founder Jannik Weich's travels through the country and his fascination with its people, alpacas and the craft found in the Peruvian Andes. WEICH uses Royal Alpaca for its fur products and works with specialised partners and workshops in Peru. According to the brand, alpacas are not killed specifically for their fur. The hides used are obtained from animals that have died naturally or as a by-product of meat production, while the annual shearing and sale of alpaca wool provide an important source of income for many local farmers.
