Glass House with LED Star Amber 20 cm

A little house where the stars are already shining

The loveliest address this Christmas might be surprisingly small. Measuring just 20 cm high, the Wirtz Glass House with LED Stars in Amber brings together light, glass and festive atmosphere in one decorative object. The house-shaped lamp is made from transparent glass in a warm amber shade, with numerous illuminated star motifs appearing across its surfaces. The pitched-roof silhouette and fine framework give it the character of a tiny glass house that looks decorative even when switched off, then really comes into its own once illuminated. Integrated LEDs light up the stars across the different glass panels, while reflections inside create additional depth and a lively play of light. Battery operation means this LED Christmas decoration can be positioned indoors without depending on a nearby socket. At 20 cm tall, it sits comfortably on a sideboard, windowsill, chest of drawers or a festive dining table. And unlike a real house, there are no keys or utility bills to worry about.

Christmas lighting can have a quieter side

Among fir branches, candles and traditional Christmas stars, there is something rather refreshing about a light decoration that does not compete for attention. The amber-coloured glass catches and reflects the LED light, allowing the star shapes to appear slightly different as you move around the piece. This makes the glass house equally appealing as a standalone Christmas decoration or as part of a larger seasonal arrangement. Pair it with wood, foliage and pine cones for a naturally warm setting, or introduce glass, metal and restrained colours for a more contemporary look. Battery power also gives you greater freedom when choosing where to place it, particularly in spots where a cable would rather spoil the scene. The Wirtz Glass House is intended for indoor use and is supplied as one piece.

The stars have moved in

The product comes from Lichterweihnacht Handelsagentur Stefan Wirtz, based in Jüchen, Germany. Lichterweihnacht focuses on decorative lighting and LED designs for Christmas and the winter season, including illuminated stars, light rings, light trees and other seasonal pieces. Many of its designs share an approach that suits this little glass house particularly well: allowing light and form to create the atmosphere. Here, the effect comes from the warm amber glass, the clear architectural outline and the scattering of illuminated stars rather than elaborate festive ornament. Energy-efficient LED technology is characteristic of the brand’s lighting range. This allows Lichterweihnacht LED lighting to sit comfortably alongside traditional Christmas decorations as well as in calmer, more contemporary interiors. It is the sort of seasonal object we appreciate at LIVOSY: unmistakably festive, without asking the entire room to dress up for Christmas.

A pocket-sized night sky for the sideboard

At 20 cm high, the glass house is easy to weave into an existing Christmas display. Place it among miniature trees and winter greenery, combine it with scented candles and lanterns, or simply give it a little space of its own on a windowsill. Several light sources arranged at different heights can create an especially inviting composition. The amber shade works beautifully with deep greens, warm browns, cream tones, natural materials and subtle metallic details. At the same time, the transparent glass construction keeps the overall appearance visually light rather than heavy or overly decorative. For anyone who prefers Christmas lighting to create atmosphere rather than spectacle, this Wirtz glass house makes a charming companion throughout Advent and the winter season. A tiny house filled with stars. Not a bad place to spend Christmas, really.
