LED Glass Candle Amber 20 cm

Candlelight, with a little technical advantage

The Wirtz LED Glass Candle in Amber combines the warm character of a candle with a decorative light that requires no open flame. Standing 20 cm high, this Christmas light is made from amber-coloured glass and takes its cues from the familiar candle silhouette: a cylindrical body topped by a transparent, drop-shaped point resembling a stylised flame. Inside, delicate LED lights are arranged along fine wire, creating multiple reflections through the tinted glass. Depending on your viewing angle, the points of light can appear denser, brighter or almost suspended within the candle. Battery operation means it can be positioned indoors without relying on a nearby socket, while an integrated timer makes recurring illumination particularly convenient during the festive season. Place the 20 cm LED Glass Candle on a sideboard, windowsill, chest of drawers or Christmas table for a calm decorative glow. All the atmosphere of candlelight, with considerably less searching for matches.

A light with a talent for atmosphere

The amber tint gives the glass candle a warm presence even when it is switched off. Once the LEDs are illuminated, reflections appear across and within the glass, turning individual points of light into a much richer display. This makes the Wirtz LED Glass Candle an appealing alternative or companion to traditional candles, lanterns and fairy lights. Battery operation gives you greater freedom when decorating areas without a convenient socket and avoids having a cable running through the arrangement. The timer makes everyday use even easier. Designed for indoor use and supplied individually, the candle can take on different characters depending on its surroundings. Pair it with fir branches and pine cones for an unmistakably festive setting, or combine it with wood, glass and natural shades for a quieter winter display.

December has found its own kind of light

Behind the design is Lichterweihnacht Handelsagentur Stefan Wirtz, based in Jüchen, Germany. Its collection focuses on decorative LED lighting for Christmas and winter, ranging from illuminated stars and light rings to light trees, fairy lights and other seasonal objects. Rather than relying on an abundance of ornament, many of the designs allow shape and light to create the atmosphere. The Amber LED Glass Candle follows the same idea. Its recognisable candle silhouette provides a festive reference, while the clean form and tinted glass allow it to sit comfortably in more contemporary interiors too. Energy-efficient LED technology is a characteristic element of Lichterweihnacht LED lighting. At LIVOSY, we like this quieter approach to Christmas: clearly seasonal and full of atmosphere, without making every available centimetre look as though it has relocated to the North Pole.

Lovely alone, even brighter in company

At 20 cm high, the Amber LED Glass Candle can stand alone or become part of a small arrangement of decorative lights. Combining glass candles in different heights is particularly effective: the repeated silhouette brings visual calm, while the variation in scale adds depth. Amber glass pairs naturally with deep fir green, warm wood, cream, brown and golden details, as well as smoky glass and darker accents. On a festive dining table, place it among winter foliage and seasonal decorations; on a sideboard, combine it with lanterns or miniature trees; on a windowsill, simply let the glass and light speak for themselves. The result is Christmas lighting that is less about adding decoration everywhere and more about creating atmosphere where it matters. A little glass, a little light, and suddenly a December evening feels rather different.
