LED Glass candle Smoky Grey 20 cm

A touch of twilight captured in glass

Smoky Grey turns out to suit light rather beautifully. The Wirtz LED glass candle combines a 20 cm tall glass body with delicate LEDs and a subtly tinted, transparent finish. Inside, a fine light wire winds its way through the glass; once illuminated, numerous reflections appear across the surface like tiny points of starlight. It feels festive without immediately looking like traditional Christmas décor. And that is precisely its charm. The cylindrical glass body is topped with a lid and drop-shaped finial, creating a silhouette reminiscent of an abstract candle. Its smoky grey tint gives the piece presence even when switched off, while lending the illumination an especially atmospheric character after dark. At 20 cm high, the LED glass candle sits easily on a sideboard, windowsill or occasional table, or as part of a winter arrangement. Designed for indoor use, it is battery operated, so there is no power cable running across the display towards a socket. An integrated timer takes care of regular switching on and off. One LED glass candle is included. Glass, light and a little smoky grey – there really is no need to complicate matters.

Christmas, with rather less tinsel

This Wirtz glass candle belongs to the kind of Christmas lighting that does not need to limit itself to a few weeks in December. Its restrained form and Smoky Grey glass work beautifully among evergreen foliage, baubles and stars during Advent, yet feel equally natural in a contemporary winter interior. Place it on a windowsill for a quiet glow after dark, use it alongside candles and glassware on the table, or arrange it on a tray with branches, pine cones and other decorative lights. Battery operation gives you freedom to position it away from a power socket, while the timer makes everyday use pleasantly uncomplicated and allows the light to return regularly. The atmosphere comes from one considered point of light rather than an abundance of decoration.

A light with a taste for subtle shades

Lichterweihnacht is part of Handelsagentur Stefan Wirtz in Jüchen, Germany, with a focus on decorative LED lighting for Christmas and the winter season. Its range includes illuminated stars, light rings, light trees, string lights and other decorative lighting objects. A recurring theme is the combination of restrained design and atmospheric illumination. This LED glass candle follows the same idea: the silhouette remains clear while the interplay of LEDs, reflections and smoky glass creates its character. Lichterweihnacht LED lighting can therefore settle naturally into different interiors rather than dictating a particular style of Christmas decorating. It is an approach that feels very much at home at LIVOSY too. Light can alter the mood of a room with remarkably little fuss, creating atmosphere without demanding all the attention.

Three heights, plenty of possibilities

At 20 cm high, the Smoky Grey LED glass candle works particularly well on smaller surfaces or as part of a grouped arrangement. Combine it with other Wirtz glass candles in different heights to create a composition of staggered silhouettes and scattered points of light. The smoky glass pairs naturally with black, silver and cool grey shades, but also brings a beautiful contrast to warm wood, evergreen foliage and natural Christmas decorations. For a more pared-back look, simply place it on its own on a sideboard or windowsill and let the light do the rest. Its understated design also means there is little reason to put it away as soon as the festivities are over. Christmas may eventually return to its box. Good light can stay a little longer.
