LED Glass candle Smoky Grey 27 cm

Smoky glass, points of light and a hint of winter evening

Christmas lighting can afford to be a little mysterious. At 27 cm high, the Wirtz Smoky Grey LED glass candle combines grey-tinted glass with delicate LEDs to bring exactly that mood into the home. Its tall cylindrical glass body reveals the fine light wire within, while the illuminated LEDs create numerous star-like reflections across the surface. The smoky tint gives these points of light a sense of depth and movement without making the object itself feel overly decorative. A lid with a distinctive drop-shaped finial completes the design, recalling the silhouette of a candle and giving the clean glass form an almost sculptural quality. At 27 cm, this is the taller presence among the Smoky Grey glass candles and works beautifully as a noticeable lighting accent on a sideboard, console or windowsill. It also has enough height to hold its own on a festive table or within a larger Christmas arrangement. Designed for indoor use, the LED glass candle is battery operated, which means the nearest socket does not get a vote in where it goes. An integrated timer takes care of regular switching on and off. One LED glass candle is included. There is no real flame here. Chances are, you will not miss it very much.

Tall enough to make an entrance, calm enough for every evening

The 27 cm glass candle has a noticeable presence without taking over the entire arrangement. Smoky Grey looks particularly beautiful during Advent alongside evergreen foliage, pine cones, stars and Christmas baubles in silver, champagne or soft white. At the same time, the grey glass pairs naturally with black metal, dark wood, ceramics and other glass objects, allowing the decorative lamp to settle easily into more pared-back interiors. Battery operation means it can stand where the light looks right rather than where a power socket happens to be. On a sideboard it creates a distinctive evening glow, on a windowsill it accompanies the darker hours, and on a decorative tray it can become the centre of a winter arrangement. The integrated timer quietly takes one small task out of the day: once activated, the illumination can return regularly without needing to be switched on by hand each evening.

Giving the darkness a little competition

Lichterweihnacht is associated with Handelsagentur Stefan Wirtz in Jüchen, Germany, and specialises in decorative LED lighting for the Christmas and winter season. Its range includes illuminated stars, light rings, light trees, string lights and other decorative lighting objects. Many of the designs follow a pleasantly restrained idea: rather than relying on an abundance of festive motifs, they allow form, light and atmosphere to take centre stage. The Wirtz Smoky Grey LED glass candle captures this approach particularly well. Its grey glass body remains visually calm, while the LEDs and reflections bring the piece to life after dark. As a result, Lichterweihnacht LED lighting can work not only as traditional Christmas decoration but also as atmospheric lighting in contemporary interiors. It is an approach that sits naturally with LIVOSY too: we like details that add something to a room without telling it how it ought to look.

Different heights, one constellation of light

At 27 cm high, the Smoky Grey glass candle has enough presence to stand beautifully on its own, but pairing it with smaller Wirtz LED glass candles creates an entirely different effect. Together, different heights form a layered composition of transparent shapes, smoky grey tones and scattered reflections. Arrange them on a large tray, console or sideboard with evergreen branches, pine cones, baubles and a few simple stars for a festive setting that still feels considered rather than crowded. The contrast between cool smoky glass and warmer natural materials is particularly appealing. And once Christmas is over, there is no need for the 27 cm decorative lamp to disappear into storage with the baubles. Its clean silhouette has no overtly festive motif, so it can continue to bring light to the darker weeks of winter. The tree can go. The light, after all, has done nothing wrong.
