LED Star Light 2D Black 30 cm

A star that would rather glow than glitter

Christmas stars traditionally have a fondness for making an entrance. This one is pleasantly more restrained, which is precisely what makes it stand out: the black Wirtz 2D LED light-up star combines a clean, graphic silhouette with numerous small LEDs and warm light to create Christmas lighting that feels at home in contemporary interiors. Measuring 30 cm in diameter, the two-dimensional star has enough presence to catch the eye without taking over a window, wall or sheltered outdoor setting. Its black frame and fine, web-like construction give the decoration an interesting structure even when switched off; once illuminated, countless small points of light trace the shape of the star. Energy-efficient LED technology provides the light with a power consumption of 6 W and a voltage of 24 V. A generous 7 m cable with Euro plug gives you plenty of flexibility when choosing where to hang it. With an IP44 rating, the black LED star is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. And because Christmas atmosphere is lovely while crawling behind furniture to unplug decorations every evening is somewhat less magical, a timer is included too.

Lights on, winter evening on

At 30 cm in diameter, this LED star is easy to incorporate into different Christmas settings. Hang it on its own in a window or combine it with evergreen branches, candles, baubles and a delicate string of lights. It can also add a welcoming glow to an entrance, a covered terrace or a winter arrangement outdoors. The black frame provides a calm contrast to the warm points of light, giving the star a more graphic character than conventional festive decorations.

The combination of LED lighting, timer and generous cable length also makes everyday use refreshingly straightforward. The integrated timer takes care of the recurring lighting rhythm, while the 7-metre cable provides welcome freedom between your chosen display position and the nearest socket. Its IP44 rating provides protection against splashing water and supports its intended indoor and outdoor use. Quite a lot of atmosphere, in other words, with pleasingly little festive fuss.

Christmas can have a quieter glow

Wirtz and Lichterweihnacht are associated with Handelsagentur Stefan Wirtz in Jüchen, Germany. The range focuses on decorative lighting for Christmas and the winter season, including illuminated stars, light rings, light trees and decorative string lights. A recurring idea throughout the collection is the combination of restrained forms with atmospheric LED lighting. Rather than adding decoration for decoration's sake, the emphasis remains on light, shape and mood.

That approach suits this black 2D star particularly well. Its open construction allows the surroundings to remain visible, keeping the decoration visually light while retaining its distinctive silhouette. It works alongside traditional evergreen branches and a Christmas tree just as naturally as it does in more pared-back interiors featuring wood, glass, metal or natural textiles. Christmas lighting, in other words, that joins your home for December without insisting that the entire room change personality.

A little starlight goes a long way

Used alone, the 30 cm Wirtz LED star creates a clear point of light. An especially atmospheric arrangement can be created by hanging several stars at different heights or combining the design with other Lichterweihnacht LED lighting. Add a delicate LED string to the Christmas tree, an illuminated ring or softly lit greenery and the individual elements begin to form a coherent scene without looking overly arranged.

During the day, the black frame has a simple graphic presence; after dark, the tiny LEDs take over. That change of character makes this star an uncomplicated piece of Christmas decoration for windows, living spaces, entrances and outdoor displays. Plug it in, use the timer and let it glow. A good winter evening rarely needs much more direction than that.
