LED Star Light 2D Black 40 cm

A star with a little more room to shine

December can certainly handle a little extra light. The black Wirtz LED light-up star takes care of that rather nicely at 40 cm in diameter: its clean, open 2D silhouette is illuminated by numerous small LEDs, transforming the black frame into a warm white display of light. The fine, almost woven-looking structure keeps the star visually light despite its larger size and gives it a graphic presence even when switched off. At 40 cm in diameter, this version makes a noticeable decorative statement and is particularly suited to larger windows, living spaces, entrances and winter displays outdoors. The technical details remain reassuringly straightforward: the LED star operates at 24 V and 6 W, is powered via a Euro plug and comes with a generous 7 m cable. Its IP44 rating makes it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. There is also an integrated timer, so the lighting can keep to its routine while you are occupied with guests, Christmas treats or simply enjoying the evening.

Forty centimetres of light, very little fuss

Its larger format allows the black light-up star to create a deliberate focal point without overwhelming the rest of your Christmas decorations. Hung in a window, its distinctive outline comes beautifully into its own; placed against a wall or suspended freely, the combination of dark lines and warm white points of light creates an atmospheric contrast. As the star is suitable for indoor and outdoor use, it can also illuminate an entrance, terrace or sheltered winter arrangement outside. The IP44 rating provides protection against splashing water.

The 7-metre cable offers welcome flexibility when the nearest socket happens to be nowhere near the place where the star looks best. An integrated timer makes everyday use easier too, allowing the LED Christmas lighting to create a recurring glow without needing to be switched on and off manually each evening. Energy-efficient LED technology produces the many small points of light with a power consumption of 6 W. The result has presence, but knows better than to shout about it.

Christmas décor has a rather good dark side

Wirtz and Lichterweihnacht are associated with Handelsagentur Stefan Wirtz in Jüchen, Germany. The range focuses on decorative lighting for Christmas and the winter season, from illuminated stars and light rings to light trees and decorative string lights. Across the collection, light, shape and atmosphere take priority over excessive ornamentation. The black 2D LED star captures this approach particularly well: its familiar five-point silhouette feels contemporary thanks to the dark construction and fine woven appearance.

The contrast also makes Lichterweihnacht LED lighting easy to combine with different interior styles. By day, the black frame creates a clear graphic shape; after dark, the warm white LEDs become the focus. The star therefore sits naturally alongside traditional evergreen branches and a Christmas tree, but works equally well with quieter arrangements of wood, glass, metal and natural tones. Festive lighting, without asking the rest of the room to dress up for the occasion.

Two sizes, countless little points of light

The 40 cm LED star has enough presence to work beautifully on its own, but combining different heights and sizes can create an even more atmospheric display. Pair it with the smaller 30 cm version for a relaxed constellation in a window or above a seasonally decorated console. Decorative string lights, illuminated rings and other pieces from the Lichterweihnacht lighting collection can be added too, creating depth without turning the living room into a Christmas market.

A black frame, warm white light, 40 cm diameter, timer, 7 m cable and an IP44 rating for indoor and outdoor use: the Wirtz LED light-up star brings together everything you need for uncomplicated Christmas lighting. All that remains is choosing where it should hang. The light can take it from there.
