A little wave in gold
This little gnome has clearly decided that a friendly Christmas greeting deserves a little sparkle. The Lichterweihnacht Waving Gnome in glitter gold by Wirtz is a 16.5 cm tall Christmas figure made from plastic, finished with a fully glittered surface, a long pointed hat, rounded body, generous gnome beard and, of course, one raised hand ready to wave. Measuring 12 cm wide and 9 cm deep, the gold Christmas gnome fits easily on a sideboard, windowsill, shelf or small table while still bringing plenty of character to the room. Its glittering finish catches the surrounding light and creates a lively contrast against fir branches, candles, Christmas baubles, wood and other natural decorations. Designed for indoor use, the waving gnome is battery operated and features a timer function. Batteries are not included. One gold-coloured figure is supplied. In other words, a rather cheerful little house guest for the festive season – and one that seems determined to say hello to absolutely everyone.
December is allowed a little sparkle
Thanks to its compact size, the gold waving gnome can be added to all kinds of Christmas displays without taking over the entire scene. Against calm natural shades, it creates a playful contrast; paired with traditional red and green, it slips easily into a more classic Xmas setting. Place it on a decorative tray with candles, fir greenery and baubles, between wrapped presents or simply give it a spot of its own on a shelf. The raised hand gives the figure a friendly sense of movement, almost as though it is welcoming everyone who walks past. The timer function makes everyday use pleasantly uncomplicated, while battery operation gives you more freedom when choosing where to place it, without having to arrange your Christmas decorations around a nearby socket.
Christmas cheer with a quiet sense of humour
Lichterweihnacht is part of the product world of Handelsagentur Stefan Wirtz and focuses on decorative pieces for the Christmas and winter season. The brand combines a warm, homely atmosphere with clear and approachable design. The Lichterweihnacht Waving Gnome brings a more playful note to that idea. Rather than relying solely on traditional festive motifs, the figure adds personality through its simple silhouette, sparkling surface and friendly wave. It is exactly the kind of decorative detail we appreciate at LIVOSY: an object does not need to transform an entire room to change its atmosphere. Sometimes one small character is enough. Particularly when that character happens to be wearing a very tall hat.
One gnome is charming. A few become a story.
The waving gnome works beautifully on its own, but it can also be combined with other Christmas figures and seasonal accessories. Gold brings warmth to festive interiors and pairs especially well with fir green, natural wood, cream tones, red accents and soft candlelight. For a more playful arrangement, combine several waving gnomes in different colours and create a small group across a sideboard, shelf or Christmas display. At 16.5 cm high, the figure is large enough to be noticed while remaining easy to place alongside decorations you already own. And there is something rather appealing about a Christmas gnome that simply stands there and waves. Who exactly is it waving to? That part can remain a festive mystery.
