Product information "Waving Gnome Glitter Green 16.5 cm"
Green has discovered glitter
Among the fir branches he could almost blend into the scenery, if it weren't for that rather confident covering of glitter. The Lichterweihnacht Glitter Green Waving Gnome by Wirtz is a 16.5 cm tall Christmas figure made from plastic, complete with a long pointed hat, rounded body, generous beard and one raised hand cheerfully waving its way through the festive season. Its fully glittered surface in rich green gives the familiar Christmas gnome a fresh, playful character and catches the surrounding light beautifully, particularly among candles and festive lights. Measuring 12 cm wide and 9 cm deep, the figure is easy to place on a sideboard, windowsill, shelf or decorated table. The waving gnome is designed for indoor use, is battery operated and features a timer function. Batteries are not included and one figure is supplied. A delightfully uncomplicated piece of Christmas decoration that makes no attempt to look terribly serious. With a hat like that, it probably wouldn't succeed anyway.
A little bit forest. A lot more sparkle.
Green belongs to Christmas just as naturally as fir branches and the suspiciously early appearance of festive treats. On this waving gnome, however, the traditional colour gets a playful update. The glitter finish brings the rich green to life and creates an appealing contrast with quieter materials such as wood, ceramics and paper. At the same time, it feels completely at home alongside evergreen foliage, red baubles and warm candlelight. Battery operation means there is no need to arrange your display around a nearby socket, giving the gnome plenty of freedom to find exactly the right spot. The integrated timer function makes everyday use straightforward, while its compact dimensions allow this 16.5 cm waving Christmas gnome to work equally well as a standalone figure or as part of a larger festive arrangement.
A gnome who rather enjoys an entrance
Lichterweihnacht is part of the product world of Handelsagentur Stefan Wirtz and focuses on decorative pieces for Christmas and the winter season, combining clear forms with a warm and atmospheric feel. The Lichterweihnacht Waving Gnome takes that festive world in a deliberately playful direction. Its simple, friendly silhouette gains a surprisingly contemporary presence from the vivid green colour and sparkling surface. Rather than disappearing among the rest of the Christmas decorations, this little character is quite happy to be noticed. That sits nicely with our approach at LIVOSY: festive decoration can feel familiar while still showing personality. It can evoke memories, create atmosphere and occasionally raise a smile. This green fellow seems particularly well qualified for the latter.
And who is he waving to?
The green waving gnome has enough character to stand happily on its own, although a little company suits him rather well too. Combine it with gold, silver or pink versions for a playful gathering of Christmas gnomes, or keep things calmer by pairing the rich green with natural materials and evergreen foliage. Place the figure on a wooden tray with candles and fir branches, between wrapped presents or as an unexpected festive guest on a bookshelf. Classic red, cream and gold also complement the green beautifully. It is an easy piece to rediscover each Advent and arrange in a slightly different way. And should several waving gnomes eventually move in, there is at least one certainty: your Christmas guests will never be short of a friendly welcome.
