Keeping cool has never looked quite so decorative
A leopard with cucumber slices over its eyes? Someone has clearly taken relaxation rather seriously. The Gift Company Be Cool M glass trinket dish from the Love Plates collection brings this wonderfully understated humour to a small decorative glass plate. Against a lilac background, a leopard appears in warm brown and natural tones, complete with two green cucumber slices as an unconventional beauty treatment and the words “BE COOL!” above its head. A shimmering gold-coloured rim frames the illustration, adding a lovely contrast to the playful design. Measuring 10 cm wide, 14.2 cm deep and just 0.8 cm high, this rectangular glass dish is compact enough for all sorts of little corners. The manufacturer's colour Lilla introduces a gentle violet accent, while the detailed animal illustration immediately catches the eye. A small home accessory that somehow manages to look remarkably relaxed, even surrounded by keys, jewellery and the everyday bits and pieces of life.
A little order, with plenty of personality
The Love Plates glass dish makes a delightful decorative resting place for rings, earrings, small pieces of jewellery and all those little belongings that have a habit of wandering off. Place it on a bedroom chest of drawers, beside a bathroom mirror or on a living room side table, where the illustration can be properly appreciated. Its shallow shape makes it easy to incorporate into an existing arrangement without taking up much space. Be Cool also makes a thoughtful little gift for anyone who appreciates animals, expressive illustrations and a sense of humour that needs no explanation. Each dish is supplied individually and is intended primarily as a decorative accessory rather than conventional dinnerware. Its appeal lies in giving familiar everyday objects somewhere a little more interesting to live.
A leopard on a spa break? Very Gift Company.
Since 1991, Hamburg-based Gift Company has been creating gifts and home accessories designed to bring colour, imagination and a gentle wink of humour into everyday life. The Love Plates collection captures that spirit beautifully, turning glass into a canvas for expressive illustrations somewhere between pop art, animal portraiture and affectionate irony. Made in China, the Be Cool glass plate combines an easy-to-place format with artwork that rewards a second glance. At LIVOSY, we have a soft spot for these unexpected details. They give a home personality without demanding a complete change of interior. Alongside Love Plates, our changing Gift Company selection includes Love Trays decorative trays, Artisan vases and other characterful home accessories. Each brings its own little story to the room.
Good humour has found its place
The Be Cool M glass dish looks particularly appealing as a deliberate splash of colour among quieter materials such as wood, ceramics and natural stone. Its violet background sits comfortably alongside warm beige and brown shades, while the gold-coloured edge picks up the tones of brass accessories or golden picture frames. For a more playful arrangement, combine different designs from the Love Plates collection or place the dish alongside a larger Love Trays decorative tray. The result feels collected and personal rather than overly coordinated. It also makes a lovely companion to a vase of fresh flowers or a scented candle, with the cucumber-eyed leopard providing a quietly amusing finishing touch. Whether chosen for your own home or given as a gift to someone whose diary could do with a little breathing space, this Gift Company glass trinket dish is a charming reminder that taking life a little less seriously can look rather good.
