Pizza night has its own toolkit now
The box is open, the pizza smells excellent and someone is already attempting to separate the first slice with an ordinary table knife. PRINTWORKS The Essentials Pizza Tools offers a rather better solution. Inside the decorative book-style box are two useful metal tools: a pizza cutter with a round cutting wheel and a broad pizza server with a serrated edge. Both sit neatly within a fitted black EVA insert, ready for the next Margherita, Marinara or whatever happens to be arriving at the table. The box itself is made with chipboard and cotton and measures 26.5 cm high, 19.7 cm wide and 4.7 cm deep, with a weight of 0.6 kg. Its white, red and green design borrows the cheerful visual language of a traditional Italian pizzeria, complete with retro lettering, striped awning graphics and playful references to Italian cuisine. The result is practical pizza equipment presented as a design object that looks entirely at home on an open kitchen shelf rather than hidden away in a drawer.
For Margherita, Marinara and negotiations over the final slice
The pizza wheel takes care of cutting through the base and toppings, while the broad server slides underneath each portion and carries it neatly onto the plate. Its serrated side can also assist with portioning where needed.
