The PRINTWORKS Classic Playing Cards have one advantage before the first card even reaches the table: there is absolutely no need to hide them afterwards. Instead of the familiar playing-card case, this double deck comes in a substantial, textile-look box in rich green, designed to sit comfortably alongside books and decorative objects. Open it and you will find two complete decks of playing cards, each with its own geometric back design. Green and cream are paired with warm orange on one deck and vivid blue on the other, while the faces remain clean, familiar and easy to read. It is a thoughtful balance of contemporary graphic design and traditional playing cards, ready for familiar card games, relaxed evenings and those occasions when nobody quite agrees on the rules until the first drink has been poured. The box measures 14 × 20 × 4.5 cm, weighs approximately 0.4 kg and is made from paper and cardboard, as are the cards. The materials are FSC® certified. PRINTWORKS was founded in Stockholm in 2017 by Annette and Patrik after they noticed something changing in everyday life. As everything became faster and more connected, shared time was increasingly competing with screens, feeds and constant digital noise. The brand grew from a desire to rediscover slower, warmer and more tangible moments. Its photo albums, chess sets, backgammon games, memory games and playing cards take familiar analogue activities and give them a contemporary visual language.
