The lacquered PRINTWORKS Backgammon brings the classic two-player board game into the home as a graphic object in brown, beige, pale blue, deep blue and green. Its geometric pattern continues across the closed case and the playing surface inside, giving a familiar game a distinctly contemporary character. Open it up and you’ll find a board made from wood and acrylic, smooth acrylic playing pieces in pale blue and black, and coordinating dice. Separate compartments alongside the board keep the game accessories close at hand and give everything a proper place once the final move has been played. Closed, the PRINTWORKS Backgammon measures 24 × 31 × 5 cm and weighs 1.8 kg. Substantial enough for a proper match, yet compact enough for a shelf, sideboard or coffee table.
