Any Di was founded by designer Anne Dickhardt. After an injury changed the course of her planned career in competitive tennis, she studied fashion and design management in Munich. Her own multifaceted lifestyle inspired an idea for accessories that bring aesthetics and function together. A glasses case with no intention of hiding
The design-patented Any Di SunCover has become one of the brand's signature accessories. Unlike a conventional hard glasses case, its soft construction primarily covers the sensitive lens area. The lenses rest against soft microfibre inside, helping to protect them from scratches and dust, while the arms fold behind the cover. The result is a slim glasses case that can sit inside a bag or be attached to a bag, backpack or Phone Strap using the rear hanger or a Strap Clip.
Using it is refreshingly simple. Open the arms of your glasses, place the lenses against the microfibre pads and close the SunCover with its press stud. Then fold the arms together behind the cover. According to Any Di, the design accommodates different shapes and sizes, including reading glasses, sunglasses and round, angular or cat-eye frames.
Hard case or SunCover? It depends on your day
A traditional hard case surrounds the entire pair of glasses with a rigid outer shell. The Any Di SunCover deliberately takes a different approach. It is soft and slim, with protection focused particularly around the lenses while the arms remain folded behind it. It therefore takes up little space and keeps glasses easy to reach.
