Leblon Delienne

Figurines and sculptures where pop culture meets design and memory

You have probably known Mickey Mouse, Snoopy or Batman for quite some time. Leblon Delienne gives these icons a rather different role: expressive figurines and sculptures for adults who see no reason to leave pop culture in childhood. At LIVOSY, you can discover selected Leblon Delienne pieces from familiar worlds including Disney, Peanuts, Pokémon and Warner Bros. / DC Comics, with characters such as Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Snoopy and Scrooge McDuck.

Childhood heroes, with a distinctly French perspective

Founded in 1985, Leblon Delienne creates figurines, statues, sculptures and art and design objects inspired by familiar characters from pop culture. At its sculpture workshop in Normandy, France, traditional craftsmanship meets contemporary design and expressive finishes. The result sits somewhere between collectible, artwork and interior object.

Leblon Delienne works with official licences from internationally recognised names including Disney, Warner Bros., Peanuts and Playmobil. Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Snoopy, Scrooge McDuck and Pikachu are not simply reproduced. Their familiar forms are reinterpreted through colour, finish, scale and, in selected collections, collaborations with artists and designers.

Grown up. Mickey came along.

For us, that change of perspective is a large part of the appeal. Characters many of us first encountered through comics, films, television or games find a new place in an adult interior. Nostalgia is very much welcome. It simply does not have to look nostalgic.

For generations who grew up with Disney, Peanuts, Pokémon or the heroes and villains of the DC universe, a Leblon Delienne sculpture can become a particularly personal piece of pop culture. Mickey Welcome can sit beside art books, Snoopy on a sideboard and Batman in a space otherwise reserved for a conventional sculpture. Mickey and Minnie Mouse and Snoopy are currently among the particularly popular Leblon Delienne characters at LIVOSY.

A different way to collect

Leblon Delienne approaches its characters as sculptures and design objects. That is one of the clearest distinctions between the brand and conventional merchandise or toy figurines. The recognisable identity of a character remains, while colour, surface, proportions and artistic interpretation give it another presence.

This also makes comparisons with classic collectibles such as Funko Pop rather limited. Funko Pop follows a deliberately consistent and instantly recognisable visual language. Leblon Delienne retains more of each character's individual silhouette and treats it as sculpture. Neither approach is universally better; collectors looking for a decorative art object with a stronger connection to the original character will simply find a distinctly different proposition at Leblon Delienne.

One sculpture is enough to start a collection

You do not need a display cabinet or a collecting strategy to begin. Smaller and open editions can offer an accessible starting point, while limited and numbered editions appeal to collectors looking for scarcer versions. Leblon Delienne itself distinguishes between smaller Open Editions and larger works that may be produced in limited, numbered editions.

At LIVOSY, a good place to start is with a character that already means something to you. Mickey and Minnie Welcome, Snoopy and pieces from Pokémon or the DC universe all offer different ways in. The best first figurine is rarely the one a collecting guide tells you to own. It is usually the one you already know you would like to keep.

Limited means scarce. Valuable is another question.

Some Leblon Delienne collections are produced in limited and sometimes numbered editions. These can be particularly appealing to collectors because production is restricted to a defined number of pieces. The precise edition should always be checked for the individual model, as Leblon Delienne produces both limited editions and Open Editions.

Limitation alone, however, cannot reliably predict future value. Rarity, demand, condition, edition and availability can all play a part, and none guarantees appreciation in resale value. We would therefore choose the character, design and personal connection first – and look at the edition number second.

Originals for people who recognise an old friend

At LIVOSY, we sell original Leblon Delienne products only, never B-grade stock. Our current selection includes pieces from Disney featuring Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse and Scrooge McDuck, alongside Peanuts, Pokémon and Warner Bros. / DC Comics. Our assortment continues to evolve, so further characters and collections may join them in future.

As gifts, these sculptures work particularly well when you know the recipient's story. Snoopy for someone who has loved Peanuts for decades, Mickey or Minnie for a Disney fan, or Batman and Wonder Woman for a DC collection carries rather more meaning than an anonymous decorative object. And yes, buying one for yourself remains an entirely respectable interpretation of gifting.

Made to be admired, not played with

However familiar the characters may be, Leblon Delienne figurines are collectible art and design objects rather than children's toys. They are intended for collecting and decorative display. Materials, dimensions, finishes and edition sizes can also differ between collections and individual models, so the specifications of each piece should always be checked before choosing.

FAQ - Pop culture raises good questions

Where can I buy original Leblon Delienne figurines in Germany?
LIVOSY offers original Leblon Delienne figurines online in Germany. We sell original products only and no B-grade stock. Our current selection includes characters from Disney, Peanuts, Pokémon and Warner Bros. / DC Comics. Available pieces can be explored and filtered directly on the Leblon Delienne brand page, and the assortment may expand with further collections in future.
Leblon Delienne uses familiar pop culture characters as the starting point for sculpture and design. Founded in 1985, the French company works with official licences including Disney, Warner Bros., Peanuts and Playmobil. At its Normandy workshop, familiar silhouettes are reinterpreted through colours, finishes, different scales and selected artist collaborations. The company’s craftsmanship has also been recognised with France’s Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant, or EPV, label.
Leblon Delienne operates its sculpture workshop in Normandy, France, and presents French craftsmanship as a central part of its identity. The country of manufacture should nevertheless be checked for each individual product. The current LIVOSY assortment itself contains different manufacturing-country information depending on the item, so it would not be accurate to claim that every Leblon Delienne product is entirely made in France.
Many Leblon Delienne sculptures are made from resin, but this should not be treated as a universal specification. Other materials are used for certain pieces and collections. The current LIVOSY range, for example, includes products specified as epoxy resin as well as ABS. Always refer to the individual product page for the confirmed material.
No. Leblon Delienne produces both Open Editions and limited, numbered editions. The brand positions smaller formats partly as Open Editions for gifting and building a collection, while larger or special pieces may be released in limited and numbered runs. The edition status and number of pieces should therefore always be checked for the individual sculpture.
Pieces produced in very small limited editions are naturally scarcer than Open Editions. Leblon Delienne releases sculptures with clearly defined edition sizes, including some produced in very small numbers. Rarity does not, however, guarantee financial value or future appreciation. Character, edition, condition, demand and availability can all influence collectability.
Start with the collection rather than the edition number. Choose a character and interpretation that fits your collection, then consider how limited the individual sculpture is. A smaller edition is objectively scarcer, but that does not automatically make it more personally desirable or financially valuable. For a collection you intend to enjoy for years, design is a better first filter than speculation.
Recognisable characters and smaller or Open Edition pieces can be a good starting point. Leblon Delienne itself presents smaller Open Editions as suitable for personal enjoyment, gifting and collecting several designs. Mickey and Minnie Mouse and Snoopy are currently particularly popular choices at LIVOSY. Starting with a character you already have a connection with is often more rewarding than trying to identify a theoretical must-have.
The best choice depends on the person receiving it. Mickey or Minnie can suit a Disney enthusiast, Snoopy a Peanuts fan, Pokémon characters someone with a connection to the gaming and pop culture universe, while Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman or Harley Quinn can complement a DC collection. Size should also be considered so that the sculpture works naturally in the recipient’s space.
The two brands follow very different design principles. Funko Pop uses a deliberately consistent and highly stylised visual language across its characters. Leblon Delienne positions its pieces as sculptures and design objects, retaining more of the individual character’s silhouette while experimenting with colour, finishes, scale and artistic interpretation. If “more detailed” means a more individual, sculptural interpretation of the character, Leblon Delienne takes the more art-led approach. A universal ranking of quality would nevertheless be subjective.
No. Leblon Delienne figurines should be regarded as collectible art and design objects rather than children’s toys. The presence of familiar characters such as Mickey Mouse, Snoopy or Pikachu does not change their intended purpose. Anyone looking for a product specifically for children should choose appropriately tested, age-suitable toys instead.
We do not currently offer a dedicated Star Wars collection by Leblon Delienne. If you would still like to add one of the brand’s sculptures to your collection, other icons from film, comics and pop culture can make an interesting addition. Characters from the DC universe in particular can bring a similarly distinctive presence to a display. Ultimately, it matters less whether the characters belong to the same universe and more whether the style, colour and personal connection feel right together.
Yes. Leblon Delienne also offers figurines and sculptures from the worlds of Playmobil and Winnie the Pooh. These collections are not currently part of our regular online range, but if you are looking for a particular piece, please get in touch with us at hello@livosy.de or call us on +49 2161 5615800. We are happy to take special requests and check whether an individual order can be placed with the manufacturer. So, if you cannot currently find a particular Leblon Delienne figurine at LIVOSY, it is always worth asking us.
