Product information "Decorative Tray Whisker Sour S"
A cat, a cocktail and a rather curious guest
The cat looks as though it has already claimed the drink. And judging by those bright green eyes, negotiating might be rather difficult. The round Gift Company Whisker Sour S Decorative Tray from the Love Trays collection brings a wonderfully eccentric combination of feline curiosity, cocktail culture and colourful illustration into your home. At the centre of the design, a tabby cat peers over a vibrant orange cocktail, its paws resting on a bright pink surface. Inside the glass, ice cubes, an orange slice and a glossy red cocktail cherry create an inviting scene, although the tiny mouse making an appearance might raise a few eyebrows. Above the illustration, the words "Whisker Sour" offer a playful twist on the classic Whiskey Sour cocktail. A deep petrol-blue background contrasts with vivid pink, orange and golden yellow, giving the artwork a lively, almost vintage-inspired character. Made from iron, the round tray measures 17.7 cm in diameter and just 1 cm in height. Weighing approximately 180 grams, it is light enough to move around whenever you fancy a change of scenery. A small decorative tray with a rather big personality, and quite possibly the most entertaining cat in the room.
A little space for life's favourite things
The Gift Company Love Trays Whisker Sour design is a lovely reminder that even the smallest home accessories can have plenty to say. Use it to keep jewellery, keys or little everyday treasures together, or display it on a coffee table where its playful illustration can be enjoyed. Its compact size makes it particularly suitable for bedside tables, narrow shelves and smaller sideboards where a larger decorative tray might feel out of place. It also looks rather fitting beside a home bar, where the cocktail-inspired artwork adds a humorous detail to your drinks corner. The rich colours work beautifully against dark wood, clear glass and understated ceramics, allowing the illustration to stand out without overwhelming the surrounding space. Displayed on its own, the tray becomes a miniature piece of decorative art. As a gift, it is a delightful choice for cat lovers, cocktail enthusiasts and anyone who appreciates home accessories with a sense of humour.
A colourful imagination, served with a smile
Gift Company is a Hamburg-based creative brand that has been designing imaginative gifts and home accessories since 1991. Its philosophy is simple: life is more enjoyable with colour, creativity and a little humour. The Love Trays collection captures that spirit through expressive illustrations and unexpected combinations of everyday imagery. Whisker Sour is a particularly playful example, turning a familiar cocktail reference into a curious little scene involving a cat, a mouse and a very tempting drink. Manufactured in India from iron, the decorative tray combines a practical shape with a design that feels almost like a miniature illustrated story. At LIVOSY, we enjoy finding pieces like this because they introduce individuality into a home and sit comfortably alongside quieter, more understated objects. Gift Company's wider collections include Love Plates glass plates, Artisan vases, Froid bottle coolers, Madras lanterns and Voile glass jars. Different accessories, all connected by a shared appreciation for colour and imaginative design.
Good company makes the best cocktail
The Whisker Sour S Decorative Tray is easy to combine with other designs from the Gift Company Love Trays collection. Arrange several illustrated trays together on a shelf or sideboard to create a playful display that feels personal rather than overly coordinated. For a calmer setting, pair it with a simple ceramic vase, a glass candle holder or natural materials such as wood and linen. The tray's vivid colours also offer plenty of inspiration: a few pink flowers, an orange decorative detail or a petrol-blue cushion can subtly echo the artwork elsewhere in the room. Glass plates from the Love Plates collection make another charming companion, particularly if you enjoy mixing unusual illustrations and decorative objects. Measuring 17.7 cm across, this size S tray is compact enough for smaller spaces while offering room for a few favourite everyday items. Supplied as one iron decorative tray, it brings a cheerful finishing touch to interiors that appreciate a little personality. Ideal for anyone who loves cats, enjoys a good cocktail and doesn't mind sharing the occasional drink with a rather unexpected mouse.
