A bouquet rarely arrives with a seating plan, so the PHILIPPI LIVRÉE vase takes care of that in its own rather clever way. Its organically curved shape opens into several sections at the top, giving individual stems room rather than gathering the entire bouquet into one central opening. The result feels loose and naturally arranged, making tulips, dahlias and other expressive flowers a lovely counterpart to the sculptural vase. LIVRÉE is made from ceramic using a modern 3D-printing process. Layer by layer, this creates its finely ribbed, tactile surface before the vase is fired at 1,200°C for around three hours. Natural creamy white brings a sense of calm to the unusual silhouette and makes it wonderfully easy to place in different interiors. Measuring 22 cm high and 20 cm in diameter, this PHILIPPI vase has enough presence for a dining table, coffee table or sideboard without taking over the room. It weighs 1.8 kg and has a waterproof coating on the inside up to approximately half its height. And yes, LIVRÉE works rather well without flowers too. In their absence, its sculptural form is perfectly capable of doing the decorating itself.

A little order for the wonderfully unruly flower department

LIVRÉE really comes into its own when you start arranging flowers. Its divided, gently fanned shape distributes stems across several areas, creating a bouquet with volume, air and natural movement. Rather than crowding the flowers together, it allows individual shapes and colours to remain visible. Blooms that need little additional greenery are particularly well suited to the design. At the same time, the delicate layered texture of the 3D-printed ceramic makes the vase interesting to touch as well as to look at. Contemporary manufacturing meets a material that has belonged in our homes for centuries – a contrast that gives LIVRÉE its distinctive character. Designed by Icy Gong, the vase was also recognised with an iF Design Award 2026. The result is a functional flower vase that becomes a decorative object in its own right.

From a printer, yet refreshingly far from feeling technical

PHILIPPI creates home accessories with a clear appreciation for distinctive shapes, functional ideas and materials with substance. The owner-managed design company from the Hamburg region has developed over the decades from a small brand into an internationally distributed name in contemporary design. LIVRÉE captures that approach beautifully: 3D printing is not used as a technological gimmick, but as a way of creating a shape that would be difficult to achieve with the same character using conventional methods. Its visible layers are not concealed; they are an intentional part of the design. It is an idea that sits naturally with the LIVOSY philosophy too. Home accessories can have personality without being tied to a fleeting trend. Good forms remain interesting precisely because they do not need to change with every season.

Dahlias today, happily solo tomorrow

On a pale dining table, the creamy white LIVRÉE vase feels calm and graphic, while dark timber creates a stronger contrast. Rich flower colours such as burgundy, yellow or deep red bring the light ceramic surface to life, whereas white, green and softly toned arrangements create a quieter composition. Branches and deliberately pared-back bouquets work beautifully with its unusual shape too.
