Put a bunch of tulips on the table and somehow the whole room feels more awake. The PHILIPPI Margeaux Vase L plays its part beautifully: restrained in colour, yet almost impossible to overlook thanks to its expressive shape. This large PHILIPPI vase is handcrafted from stainless steel and finished with a highly polished surface that reflects light, flowers and its surroundings differently throughout the day. Measuring 20 cm high and 29 cm in diameter, Margeaux L has a broad, confident silhouette with plenty of room for generous floral arrangements. Flip's design resembles a loosely folded ribbon or a cluster of petals opening outwards. Its irregular curves are precisely what give the vase its character: rather than a conventional rim, different heights, openings and sweeping lines create natural spaces for stems to settle. Tulips are particularly at home here, especially as their leaves and stems tend to have ideas of their own. Larger bouquets, branches and seasonal flowers also gain a strong contemporary base in this stainless steel vase. Empty, meanwhile, Margeaux remains an expressive interior object in its own right.

A little loss of control suits flowers rather well

Margeaux has no interest in forcing every stem into formation. Its open, organic shape gives flowers space while keeping an arrangement interesting from different angles. This makes the stainless steel tulip vase particularly appealing for flowers that continue to move and open over several days. The mirrored surface adds another layer of movement: daylight, greenery and surrounding colours appear in the steel, subtly changing its look depending on where the vase is placed. At approximately 2 kg, the handcrafted piece also has a reassuring sense of substance. On a dining table, sideboard or console, it needs very little around it to make an impression. Its clean material works naturally in pared-back interiors, but is equally comfortable alongside ceramics, timber, glass and the personal pieces that make a home feel lived in.

The handcrafted Margeaux Vase L takes that familiar material and gives it a surprisingly soft, almost floral character.
