A skyline with a rather good grip on your apples

A little metropolitan architecture is quite welcome at the dining table. The PHILIPPI Manhattan Bowl L transforms the silhouette of a city skyline into an unusual interior object: around its flat, mirror-like surface, individual elements of different heights rise from highly polished stainless steel, recalling skyscrapers and the streets running between them. It is an architectural idea with a surprisingly practical side, too, as fruit stays nicely within the bowl rather than making an escape across the table. Measuring 29 cm in diameter and 6 cm high, the large Manhattan Bowl offers generous space without feeling bulky. At 946 g, it has a reassuring presence, while the polished silver-coloured stainless steel reflects light, colours and the surrounding room. The result changes subtly throughout the day and gives even simple arrangements an expressive quality. Big-city architecture with a practical streak

Used as a fruit bowl, green apples, lemons or pears introduce colour between its miniature “skyscrapers”. As a decorative bowl, it can hold candles, collected objects or seasonal arrangements.
